⚠️ Yet again I am taken aback by the lack of warnings for the rainfall for tonight and tomorrow!

The latest high resolution model is forecasting over 50mm of rain in 24 hours for Cork and Waterford. (within Orange Warning Criteria, especially after the recent rainfall and flooding!)

Many other areas of the west of the country are expecting amounts over 30mm in 24 hours (within yellow warning criteria)

And then the warnings that are active say the following - "Spells of Heavy Rain"....

I kind of feel that met eireann are letting pages like mine and other social media fill in the gaps about actual details and just stick up the most basic informative information on their warnings....

⚠️ Very heavy rain tomorrow night into Tuesday! ⚠️

A low pressure system is expected to push up towards Ireland and will bring a lot of rain!

Many areas of Cork and Waterford are forecast to see over 50mm in 24 hours based on the latest Harmonie Model used by Met Eireann.

I do think an Orange Warning should be issued for both Cork and Waterford and Yellow for most other counties for Ireland as over 30mm is expected in 24 hours!

We shall see tomorrow if met eireann issue any further warnings!

Sick of this mild weather? 🥵

Well a change is on the charts....

Both the GFS and ECMWF are both forecasting a cold spell from later next week.

Could there be snow? Possibly is all for now as it is still a fair bit away!

There is still a chance of this to change but if you are sick of the mild weather then this could be good news 😍
