Meet this talented radio personality, Comedian, Mzee Mamioro who's among the Pioneers of Gusii Comedy.

Mamioro came into the limelight after his Sensational Kisii comic stunts rocked Gusii airwaves and the diaspora. He partnered with John Ongeri( Petronilla Getena of Egesa FM') to make meaningful comedies that was based on the society's daily lives.

Their art was liked by children, youths and the old members of the society who watched them in TVs (DVD) or listened to the audio versions which used to be played in "Egesa's Egosori Yokweegia". The program/ videos were Educative , entertaining and warned the society against malicious characters; Liquor, to***co and general drugs abuse.

Being the pioneer of Gusii Comedy, Mamioro has helped to Nurture and bring up various comedians who are shining in the media industry.; Antivirus, Okiondo among others have been mentored by him.

Currently Mamioro is working at Gusii's top radio Kisii FM and he's a co-host in the morning breakfast Show and also the weekend's Abagisangio(Agemates) show.

Help us to appreciate and wish him well in the industry, he used to make us entertained, and learned real life issues with his comedies.

Meet Media personality MR John Ongeri Popularly Known as Omong'ina PETRONILA GETENA.

Getena is an Egesa FM Presenter In the Weekly Morning shows , hosting with his fellow Hon Lawrence Nyakundi-Hustler . He also hosts the weekend Show " OBWATO BW' EGESA. Sometimes back he used to act with Kisii FM's Mzee Mamioro who's also doing good in the industry.

Getena is a popular, talented and powerful Radio Presenter as well as a comedian. He plays a feminine Character. His tactics have Wowed many , Getena is a no nonsense Person, he Corrects you in broad daylight and gives lectures which are redirecting our society into a better place.

At one point He contested the Nyatieko Ward MCA Seat but lost. However he still has the People of Nyatieko at his heart, he's doing several projects and has the GETENA Supercup which is nurturing young footballers in Gusii region.
