Jose Chameleone, Real Name Joseph Mayanja born on April 30, 1979, in Kampala, Uganda, is one of East Africa's most renowned Afrobeat artists. He grew up in a musically inclined family as the fourth child of Gerald Mayanja and Prossy Musoke. His passion for music was evident from a young age, inspired by his grandfather, a guitarist, and his father, a band member. Chameleone pursued his education at Nakasero Primary School and later attended Mengo Secondary, Kawempe Muslim Secondary, and Katikamu SDA schools, although his academic journey faced challenges. He began his career as a DJ in Kampala and transitioned into music with the Kenyan record label Ogopa Deejays, releasing his debut hit single, "Bageya," in 2000.

Chameleone's music blends Afrobeat, reggae, and local Ugandan sounds, earning him fame across Africa and beyond. Notable albums include Mama Mia, Valu Valu, Bayuda, and Badilisha. His songs, such as Jamila, Shida za Dunia, and Wale Wale, have garnered widespread acclaim. As the founder of Leone Island Music Empire, he has mentored prominent artists like Weasel, Radio, and King Saha. Chameleone's international tours span continents, with performances in the US, UK, Sweden, and Malaysia, among others. His contributions to music have been recognized with multiple awards, including Pearl of Africa Music Awards and Tanzania Music Awards.

Beyond music, Chameleone has engaged in philanthropy through the Chameleone Foundation, promoting youth development and awareness on critical issues like HIV/AIDS. He also ventured into politics, contesting for Kampala’s Lord Mayor position in 2021. Married to Daniella Atim since 2008, they share five children. Despite personal and professional challenges, Chameleone remains a pivotal figure in African music, celebrated for his artistry and influence.

Sasa jana kulikuwa na hii festival ya Korom and our top pokot artist POKOT BOY was featured in. Of which we appreciate it so much. But pokot boy is A big Name right now in Kalenjin music industry. Why Should He perform as a Curtain raiser for These other artists!? I mean Jamaa aliperform Saa tatu ya usiku hata haikufika saa nne.🙄🙄 Ni sawa. Pia sisi Tutaunda Event yetu na tutalipisha.
Ni hayo tu kwa sasa. Thank you very important!

WILLLY PAUL'S ROLE MODEL

When W***y Paul was starting his music career he was obsessed with Diamond Platnumz's style of music and fashion. He wanted to be like him and he never denied it even though he was doing gospel music and Diamond was doing secular.W***y Paul wanted to meet Diamond so bad that Mseto's Tuva had to arrange for their meeting.

When he met Diamond he showed him his song"lala salama" hoping that he will like it and work with him on a new song, that wasn't possible at the time because Diamond was eyeing the Nigerian market and on the other hand W***y Paul was just starting his music career and he didn't have the money to pay for quality music that would compete in Africa.

W***y Paul later added the name "Msafi" to his names and called himself W***y Paul Msafi. He named himself after Diamonds record label "Wasafi".He even wanted Diamond to sign him but this never happened. He went on to start his own record label Saldido in 2017.

W***y Paul has worked with Diamond Platnumz's signees like Harmonize and Rayvanny. He has also worked with Diamond's rival Alikiba but he has not yet achieved his dream of collaborating with Diamond Platnumz.

Over the years W***y Paul has grown as an artist and he has also become more matured than he was.He has recently issued an apology to Bahati and his family for dragging Bahati's family in their beef, something that he wouldn't have done years back.I am not sure if he still obsessed to be like Diamond Platnumz.

Marakwet Daughter, who shot to fame in 2023 with her hit song Mali Safi, is now facing a harsh reality. Her debut single amassed an impressive 13 million views on YouTube, earning her Ksh 1.5 million from the platform. She became a household name, performing at events and raking in more than Ksh 4 million within just six months. But it seems the fame came too fast for her to handle.

With her newfound success, Marakwet Daughter developed a reputation for arrogance and entitlement, warning DJs against playing her music without her consent. Fans were initially drawn to her talent, but after she told them "mnak₩nia kwa comments," she lost the support of many. Despite being given solid advice from people who meant well for her, she refused to listen.

In recent months, her career has taken a nosedive. She released five songs over the last three months, but none has garnered more than 45k views. One of them has just 3,100 views, earning her a mere Ksh 270—barely enough to cover her fare back to her Marakwet village.

While she’s clearly trying, it’s apparent that Kenyans have shown her their true colors. Without the support of her once-loyal fans, it seems that Marakwet Daughter’s music career may have reached a dead end.
