LENKU AND HIS 3 CRONIES, Who Will RUN for WHAT POSITION?

-There are only 3 positions up for grabs within the team(Governor, Senator and DG position)

SENATE
Governor Lenku who is their sponsor in chief has already convinced Senator Seki to abandon his senate position and run for governor-Leaving the Senate post open for Lenku.By Lenku declaring he will be running for Senate means, none of his 3 cronies would dare challenge him.I mean you cant challenge your sponsor.

DEPUTY GOVERNOR

By law, Moshisho cannot run for Deputy Governor again which leaves either Peris or Seki to go for this position. By all indications-none of the two is interested in this position.

GOVERNOR POSITION.

Seki at the very onset cut a deal not to oversight Lenku and in return Lenku backs him for governor ... a decision most recently Governor Lenku is backtracking on.

Peris is determined to go for Govenor as she equally made a deal with Lenku during the 2022 elections when she betrayed her UDA team and against the Will of President Ruto sold her supporters to Lenku against Katoo Ole Metito who was the flagbearer of UDA. She is sitting pretty hoping Lenku will get back to his senses and endorse her.

Moshisho has chosen to remain Loyal to Lenku hearing or seeing no evil to gain the favor of Lenku as his preferred governor. By so doing, he has become complicit of all the corruption at the County government. His demeanor around Lenku smells of a toothless dog that cannot bite.He is not a man of his mind.

Now that none is willing to let go..ALL THREE WILL BE IN THE BALLOT but LENKU will make sure him and Moshisho are in the same party to divide the Seki-Peris votes.

The Three have now perfected the art of eating and dining together with their Master LENKU other than face the decision of who will go for the TOP JOB

In Conclusion, the people of Kajiado are left to wonder, if the three (Seki, Peris and Moshisho) are this indicisive, How do they plan on convincing the people that they are fit for the County Top Job? Msitubebe Ufala Bwana!

In the recent past, Hon Katoo Ole Metito has single handedly outwitted the Lenku Succession Committee Comprising of Hon. Seki,Hon.Peris and Hon Moshisho.Hon Katoo has locked his traditional and his new political backyards of Kajiado South,North and Kajiado West,and has now set a revolution in Kajiado East and Central.

Hon.Katoo has attracted immense allies from the regions where he did not do well including Kajiado Central where he has bagged its strongest men -Hon Memusi Kanchori MP and Hon Birisha among other notable names burying whatever Moshisho's and Senator Seki's meagre influence in Kajiado Central.

Infact the People of Kajiado Central are shocked that Senator Seki can Run for Governor when they know at home he does not even command the votes for his own ward of Dallas.

For Moshisho In Kajiado Central, it has been said by the people of Matapato that 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗳 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗖𝗔 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗺..

In Kajiado Central for Katoo-None of his former allies has left him but has kept attracting more allies.

In Kajiado East,Hon Katoo has invaded Governor Lenku and Peris' former strongholds in the areas of Mashuuru,Ilmaroro and Kenyewa Poka causing a ripple effect of Katooism.The areas and its key leaders have become politically hostile to the Lenku Committee.The recent 𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗬𝗜𝗢𝗞 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
endorsing Katoo Ole Metito for governor and another endorsement set for 24th of February is a demonstration that for Hon.Katoo-He is halfway to the ballot.

Kajiado East's strongest man Dr.David Nkedienye our former governor in 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗟𝗜 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 publicly dropped his bid for Katoo ole Metito setting ground for over 60% of the Kajiado East vote going to Hon.Katoo Ole Metito-The coming on board of Hon Judith Pareno will tilt the scales giving Hon.Katoo over 80% of the votes.

Hon. Peris having realized that Governor Lenku has lost even the support of his clansmen in her Kajiado East Backyard has gone silent and has in the recent past given Lenku's meetings a wide berth.

Governor Lenku in what is seen by political pundits as a last minute rush to consolidate his newly formed political party has met with 6 leaders close to his circle to decide on The United Democratic Alliance Party top leadership Organ.

The sextet settled on Peris Tobiko as the UDC woman leader to popularise the party to the urban population and was instructed to begin grassrot mobilization in her backyard.Governor Lenku is set to sponsor a UDC Women Mashinani Campaign in Kajiado East on a date that was yet to be agreed as a way of Hon Peris Tobiko relaunching her bid for the gubernatorial race as Deputy Governor.

Hon Seki was unanimously backed to be the Deputy Party Leader for the United Democratic Congress given his position as Senator.The Senator whose fortunes are said to be dwindling promised governor Lenku that he will use the recently adopted OVERSIGHT FUND given to Senators to go round the County to popularise the Party to force The Presidents' UNITED DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS to negotiate with the UDC with the hope that he will be fronted as Governor.

Governor Lenku proposed that Kajiado North Mp Hon onesmus Ngogoyo lead the Youth wing of the United Democratic Alliance with the view to lure Kajiado North youth to back the party.Hon onesmus Ngogoyo a once close ally of President Ruto asked that he be given a fortnight to consult before he formally accepts the offer to lead the UDC Youth.

Hon parashina a political greenhorn and the Mp for governor Lenku was offered to be Treasurer of the United Democratic Congress party.Hon Parashina will manage the party funds and was tasked with organizing a fundrive at Amboseli Serena ahead of the Party's Big Launch on a date to be decided by Lenku's summit.

Kajiado East Member of Parliament Hon Kakuta Maimai was asked to team up with Hon Peris to escalate the fortunes of the UDC party in Kajiado East.Kakuta Maimai will act as the Organizing Secretary for the UDC party.

Kajiaod Deputy Governor who was not allowed to speak in the meeging other tha nod and close with a word a word of prayer was offered the Secretary General Position that was previously reserved for Alais Kisota,who is the CECM Finance as he is saod to be eyeing the Entonet Lenkism MCA seat on the same ticket.

It remains to be seen for how long the artificial Unity of the Lenku 6 will hold given the rise of President Ruto's UDA Party that is being championed by Former Kajiado South Mp Hon Katoo Ole Metito with the backing of former Kajiado Governor Hon Nkedienye and A host of popular politicians among them Hon Memusi Kanchori and Moses Birisha

As promised,our agents were present in Governor Lenku's meeting that he convened with senior officers in his government who hail from Kajiado South Constituency at his official residence in Kajiado where he read them his riot act.

Governor Lenku began the meeting in his classical style of leading by a word of prayer,a political gimmick that he has perfected to break the ice of the rather tense atmosphere in the room.The governor began by reprimanding the officers for their continued succession politics that have caused divisions in his government.

Governor Lenku confessed that the heightened political temperatures in his Kajiado South Backyard has made it difficult for him to appear in public meetings in the area due to the plain divisions that continously play in such meetings with the majority of his people divided on whom to succed him.

The governor threatened to sack anyone who will continue to engage in politics against his will and against his aspirations of fronting a United MAA Party.The Governor asked officers who will not join his party and are haboring political ambition to resign now and go align themselves elsewhere.

The divide among his officers played right infront of him with CEC Alex Kilowua protesting as he is believed to be eyeing the Kajiado South MP Seat.Mr Kilowua has already hit the campaign trail leading Kajiado Deputy Governor Little known Martin Moshisho in commissioning and inspecting various health projects in Kajiado South hence providing himself and Mr Moshisho with a platform to campaign on.

The governor's meeting unexpectly opened a can of worms against the will of the Governor.It turned his staff is largely divided between those supporting Hon Katoo and those supporting Moshisho with a small section led by Kajiad East Finace Director Mr Saigilu leaning towards Peris.

During the meeting the governor asked his officers to organize a tour for him dubbed KAJIADO SOUTH DEVELOPMENT TOUR and they must all accompany him and pledge their loyalty to him and support his upcoming political party,failure to which some will ne shown the door.Mr Alais Kisota was tasked to make sure all the officers present register as members of the United Democratic Congress, A party that poltical pundits have termed as a "Clan Village party"

WHAT BECOMES OF KAJIADO SENATORS ONCE ELECTED?

Since the first county government came into power in 2013, under former Governor David Nkedianye, Kajiado has never had a senator fit for a senatorial role.

Senator Peter Mositet was elected on a TNA ticket along with Nkedianye of ODM in 2013.
Mositet hardly moved a motion in the Senate in the entire term of 5 years. He was never involved with devolution issues of Kajiado at any given time.

Over time, the seat has fallen in the hands of leaders, perhaps making their way to the Senate just through the strength of political parties.

When the second county government came into place under Governor Joseph Lenku, the senate seat became even worse in terms of its independent voice of reason.

The second senator, the little-known and now nowhere-to-be-found, Philip Mpaayei was swallowed by Lenku's prowess in hunting for dissenting voices.

Just like his predecessor, Senator Mpaayei hardly sponsored a motion in the Senate and never spoke about the ills witnessed in the county government led by Lenku.
Is having a senator from the ruling party a curse in the oversight role of a senator in Kajiado?

After the little-known Mpaayei exited, here came Senator Kanar Seki.
Shortly after the 2022 elections, Kajiado prided herself on having elected an eagle-eyed senator who will put the governor to task in matters management of the county.
Senator Seki, a once sharp critic of Governor Lenku, turned so fast to become a mere fan of the county executive in spending time in public forums to praise the governor and even promising the governor a "higher seat!"
Just how fast does it take for a senator to be neutralised by the governor in Kajiado?

How deep is the curse?
Ideally, and as once stated by Kajiado Central MP Memusi Kanchory, "...once you see the senator and the governor singing the same song, then there is a serious problem of oversight..."
Senator Seki has fallen from being a senator to being a mere "chief campaigner" of Governor Lenku, and even promising the latter an even bigger seat.
His (Seki’s) utterances clearly show that their association is a win-win for both of them, regardless of how badly the county will be mismanaged.
The senator has abandoned his constitutional mandate and chose to become a proxy of the governor.

In the wake of having up to three years remaining in office, Governor Lenku of Kajiado finds himself at a pivotal juncture that will determine how he is remembered in the annals of the region's history. With two distinct options before him, Lenku's decisions hold the power to shape his legacy for years to come.

The first option on Lenku's plate involves a strategic approach. Utilizing the remaining three years, Lenku must prioritize addressing the most pressing legacy projects while effectively communicating the government's accomplishments over the past six years. Key among these projects is a swift and comprehensive development plan aimed at delivering improved healthcare, Modulated pastoralism, Livable towns,Climate Change and globally competitive education.

By focusing on these initiatives, Lenku has the opportunity to divert attention away from his potential 2027 competitors, including his own katoo, who might leverage his perceived shortcomings as a way to secure an easy path to the governor's seat. It becomes crucial for Lenku to overshadow the looming 2027 political noise with his accomplishments and vision for Kajiado's future. Rallying his team, he must diligently execute his agenda's core facets within the limited time at hand.

However, the second option presents a different path, one that involves active involvement in the succession process but carries inherent risks. By engaging in political maneuvering, Lenku runs the risk of inadvertently supporting the losing side, thereby solidifying an undesirable post-2027 legacy. Moreover, he stands to lose the goodwill he could have garnered during his final year in office if his political moves are miscalculated.

Further complexity arises from the launch of Lenku's new political party, the United Democratic Congress. Labelled by some as a tribal or clan-focused party, the success or failure of this venture could significantly impact Lenku's legacy. Should the party gain traction, Lenku must exhibit caution in ensuring inclusivity and potential coalition involvement to avoid alienating key demographics.

As the clock ticks, Lenku must decide whether to remain entrenched in the political landscape or pivot to secure his legacy. The next 3years present a narrow window for him to either actively participate in politics or salvage his reputation as a governor of note. The ultimate question remains: does Lenku possess the fortitude to distance himself from the political fray, safeguarding his lasting impact on Kajiado's history?
