Embu: Police arrest man for painting Dog in Tiger colour to scare drunkards.

James Muriithi 30 year old man from Karurumo is currently in police custody Awaiting to be arraigned in court for causing public anxiety and fear after he painted his dog 'turning" it into a tiger to scare away drunkards.

The attention of the police according to the statement was drawn by 7 drunk men who each ran to the police station claiming they had spotted a tiger on their way home.

Investigations into the report led to the arrest of Mr. Muriithi who claimed the area needs sanity since the drunkards disturbs the residents during their nights with their loud noises when going home.

THREE Women and a Man have been ARRESTED in Runyenjes STADIUM for allegedly conning innocent citizens in a broad daylight activity

The syndicate (East Africa Sub Sahara Africa works foundation-SSAPF) is alleged to have been illegally siphoning MONEY from locals who asking them to REGISTER and PAY the REGISTRATION fee in Groups of 15 members, being promised hefty returns in form of unpayable grants of upto 2.5 MILLION per group

HUNDREDS of locals who had attended the event were today turned away by the group officials who urged them to RE-REGISTER again terming the PREVIOUS registration where members had written PROPOSALS of DIFFERENT Projects that they were to be funded by the organisation ,NULL AND VOID

They are currently held at RUNYENJES POLICE station awaiting to be ARRAIGNED at Runyenjes law courts tomorrow

Bribe money in thousands and a police land cruiser were confiscated by the Agency officers.

Embu and Meru Muguka traders crash at Kamuketha area, Embu town after colleague was burnt down.

Heavy police survelliance has been deployed at Kamuketha area, Embu town after traders at the market started fighting after a Meru trader was burnt beyond recognition at the area over alleged stealing of a motorcycle on Sunday 8am.

Meru traders said that the man burnt down was not a suspect but a trader at the market blaming their Embu counterparts.

Police were forced to throw tears to disperse the two factions who had started crashing.

Form one student turns up with c**k at Kangaru School to negotiate school fees.

A student from Embu county has made history after entering Kangaru Boys high school carrying only a c**k he had been given after circumsition by his Uncle for admission.

The student Lawrence Murimi 15 was admitted at Kangaru school after scoring 313 marks in Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and he was to report on 4th, but due to lack of School fees he did not report to school 14 days later.

His mother is a casual labour.

Murimi woke up today and told her mother Pauline Mukami that he could not continue staying at home when the other students were still going on with their studies in school and decided to use what was available to join the school .

He took a c**k ,tied it ,dressed on his former primary school uniform and took text books he was using in the primary school and urged her mother to accompany him to school.

He told her mother that he was going to pass through the county commissioner's office to report that he was going to join the school and the journey started.

Murimi in the company of her hopeless mother walked from Majengo estate in Embu town to the county commissioner's office about two kilometres but they did not find him.

They proceeded to Kangaru school together with their c**k to try whether he could be admitted.

Upon reaching the school they went straight to the school principal office for admission .

Unfortunately they were turned away.

They said they were told that the student could not be admitted because he had nothing including his personal items.

"We were told that Murimi could not be admitted due to school fees and we went back with our c**k since our hope was that they would pick the c**k then allow Murimi in class waiting heaven to open,"said Mukami her mother.

The mother wept.

However the student and her mother were recalled by the school management after they learned that the issue had gone to media.

They told Murimi's mother that the student will be admitted and one of the staff members told the mother to leave the students in the school but upon reaching home she was also called again.

She was told that since she was not able to pay the school fees for her son she reconsider taking the student to a day school.

The student insisted that Kangaru school was his school choice and pleaded with well wishers to help him raise fee for the giant Kangaru school.

"I will work hard in school if I get the chance, my dream is to become a lawyer & help uplift my mother's poor lifestyle" said murimi.

It's still not clear whether the student will be accepted for admission in the school or what shall happen.

A State House meeting on Tuesday cleared the way for former Nairobi Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe to be named Azimio-One Kenya Alliance candidate for the Nairobi governor’s seat.

According to sources privy to talks around the alliance’s ticket, the meeting at State House settled on Mr Igathe to fly the Azimio ticket, with Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi asked to deputise him.
