METIPSO TV is LIVE!
In June of 2017, METIPSO TV co-founder Joel Richardson along with SAFARICOM and METIPSO community leaders such as Olympic Gold Medalist Mathew Birir built a 15 meter steel radio tower in their rural village so that they could connect with the world around them. After a some comprehensive troubleshooting and a sensational opening ceremony the portal is now live and already connecting classrooms around the world.
Now we're head to spread the word.
METIPSO TV will be the first television station ever to broadcast from a traditional Kalenjin hut directly from Kenya. It is also the inaugural portal location of our endeavour to build and network a number of portals in remote regions across the globe and bridge cultures by sharing unique experiences and innovations.
