🚨 STRONGLY CONDEMNING OBSTRUCTION OF FIRE RESPONSE IN KIAMBUTHI 🚨

This evening, a tragic incident unfolded in Kiambuthi, Embu, where a house was engulfed in flames. Unfortunately, efforts to contain the fire were severely hindered as sponsored individuals recklessly stoned the Embu County fire truck, obstructing the firefighters from performing their critical duty.

This behavior is unacceptable, irresponsible, and a direct threat to lives and property. Fire emergencies require swift, unhindered responses, and such acts of sabotage not only endanger the affected families but also put the lives of brave firefighters at risk.

We strongly condemn this incident and urge authorities to investigate and hold those responsible accountable. Let’s stand together to promote civic responsibility, respect for emergency services, and community safety.
