Even though I have not read the book yet, I already feel a strong connection to "Apple of the Village Eye."
Having grown up in the very village that serves as the backdrop for this story, I can almost sense the vivid portrayal of life, traditions, and the close-knit community that Jeremiah K. Kiplang'at has beautifully captured.
The title itself brings back so many memories, triggering in me the nostalgic reminiscences of the values and stories that shaped our upbringing. I can imagine how Jeremiah has woven together a narrative that resonates with anyone who has experienced the warmth and challenges of Kobel Village. I mean, when Kobel used to be Kobel.
Well, let me not water down your appetite for the book, but if you are looking for a book that dives deep into cultural heritage and the unique experiences of village life, I have no doubt that "Apple of the Village Eye" will deliver a compelling and authentic story. I cannot wait to get my hands on it and dive into what promises to be a heartfelt read!
