$100 that changed my life.

Way back in 2018, when I started freelancing, itong client na to yung una kong naging client na related sa E-commerce. I was an eBay Customer Support then I was promoted to be a store manager.

When I transitioned to freelancing, ang pinagdadasal ko lang sana makakuha ako ng atleast Php 25k/monthly kasi nasa PHP20k lang yung sahod ko sa last corpo job ko😅

Anyway, i was offered $100/weekly by this client for a 40hrs work commitment and back then, grateful na ako dito kasi madali lang yung task.

I remembered, he hired me thru chat lang and sa Upwork ko sya nakilala ☺️ Sobrang grateful ko nun kasi weakness ko yung interview and nahihiya pa talaga ako nun makipag usap lalo na foreigner 😂

I will never forget him di dahil sa sahod but because of the opportunity and chance he gave me to be an Ecommerce VA ☀️

Because of him, napakaraming opportunities, blessings ang dumating sakin and endless possibilities talaga! 👩‍💻

I realized, sometimes we only need someone who will give us a chance para i-prove yung kaya natin gawin or magpaparealize satin na may potential tayo more than pa sa akala natin 😃

Freelancing is not an easy industry, it's unstable and mahirap makakuha ng peace of mind especially when you're just starting but being a freelancer is one of best things that happened to me.

Happy Monday, fellow VAs! 🌟👩‍💻

I'm not a Monday person pero for a change and for the better, I decided to make this Monday count 😅 So, here's what I did earlier and I hope it can help you too!

1. Set Clear Goals
Define what you want to achieve today. Prioritize tasks and set achievable goals to stay focused.
✨ As a person na maraming ginagawa aside sa freelancing, nag susulat na ako ng to do lists ko para sa buong araw so I can check from time to time ano pa yung di ko na accomplish

2. Organize Your Workspace
A tidy workspace leads to a tidy mind 😌 Clear away any clutter and create an environment that inspires you.

3. Take Breaks
Don't forget to take short breaks to recharge. Step away from your screen, stretch, and get some fresh air to keep your mind sharp. 🍃
✨ Ako I practice using Pomodoro technique, 25 minutes working, 5 mins break to recharge. Sometimes, time blocking as well. May certain hours ako to do a specific tasks for a client ☺️

4. Stay Hydrated and Eat Healthily
Fuel your body with water and nutritious snacks to maintain your energy levels throughout the day. 🍽️

5. Practice Gratitude
Start your day by reflecting on what you're grateful for. A positive mindset can significantly boost your productivity.
✨ Meditation and Journaling help me a lot!

Nothing humbles me more than waiting does.

As much as I hate to be stuck in traffic, to wait for a friend, to wait at a restaurant, grocery, etc., sometimes, there’s just no choice but to wait. Waiting is a constant reminder that there are a lot of things that won’t adjust to cater to our desired pace– we are not a VIP. That no matter how much we want things to be fast, people won’t move out of their way just because we want them to.

There are a lot of instances in this life when you have no choice but to wait.

I realized that this must be why God loves to train us through waiting. Waiting reveals our character and it can be used to grow it. Waiting humbles us and makes us reliant on God, trusting that He knows the best time to give it more than we did. Waiting helps us to really journey with God.

Waiting, if we look from this perspective, is as much of a blessing as what we are waiting for.

Are you planning to go to Disneysea soon? Here are my observations and tips:

1. Download Disney App!
- Once you entered the park, this app is very useful kasi may map, list of restaurants, shops and makikita mo yung waiting time ng mga attractions.
💖 BONUS: Pwede ka rin dito makakuha ng FREE Priority pass kaya make sure na ma download and magamit mo ito! 🥰

2. Maraming nakasaradong rides nung nagpunta kami (we went there last Feb 7) and nung chineck ko yung Disney App and website until Feb 15 suspended yung operations ng some of the most famous rides sa Disneysea such as Indiana Jones and Toy Story 😕

3. Mahal yung food sa Disneysea. Even popcorns or churros. It ranges from ¥500-600. For me, kasama sa experience yung i-try ang food sa loob ng Disney. But if you're someone na gustong makatipid, I suggest na before kayo magpunta sa disney, mag heavy meal muna kayo.

4. Maraming available lockers sa Disney pero agahan nyo kasi marami ring tao ang nagpupunta sa Disney. Even sa pila, 9am pa official opening time nila but pwede kayo magpunta as early as 7:30am para mauna kayo sa mga rides 😉

5. Plan in advance yung priority nyong masakyan kasi tbh, nakaka overwhelm sa loob ng Disneysea! 😂 Manood na ng mga Youtube videos, Tiktok para atleast may ideas na ano ba yung mga unang pipilahan.

6. Compare sa Disneyland, mas konti yung pagpipilian na souvenirs sa Disneysea, not sure why. 🤔 Mas marami kaming nabili last year sa Disneyland 😅

7. Make sure to check yung schedule ng fireworks display! May days na walang ganung ganap so to avoid disappointment, check nyo sa website or app ☺️

8. Mas mura (slightly) bumili sa mismong Disney website compare to Klook pero di lahat ng debit card sa Pinas pwede 🙈 so we ended up buying sa Klook nalang.

9. Kung gusto mong makapag picture ng konti tao sa Disney train, pwede kang mag stay sa train and mag isang ikot pa. Every 3 minutes naman umaalis na yung train 😅

10. Wear comfy shoes!! Ito talaga🤣 30k steps kami nung nag disneysea and imagine kung masakit sa paa sapatos namin, baka di rin kami nag enjoy.

📍Exploring Umeda at night 🌙

At first, ito yung pinagpilian ko and Namba. This is my third visit sa Osaka and probably next time na mag punta ako dito, i will book a hotel in Umeda.

Why?
▪️Mas relax yung ambiance dito compare to Namba
▪️Mas gusto ko ang shops and malls
▪️Infairness, mas marami akong nakikitang stocks dito ng shoes or any branded item na tinitignan ko

I love slow traveling, where I don't have any specific itinerary or time to follow kasi it added stress & pressure sakin.

Also, what I noticed sakin the more na nag a-allot ako ng time to explore a place, mas naliligaw ako o di ko natatapos ang itinerary 😅
