Pineapple Digital: 10 Years Strong
2024 has been a challenging year for me, to say the least. Back in March, I underwent a knee joint replacement surgery, and just two weeks later, I had a fall on the stairs that resulted in a broken humerus. So, here I am – literally a "one-armed bandit" as I navigate recovery. On top of that, I’ve been diagnosed with permanent atrial fibrillation, which has left me struggling with shortness of breath even on short walks. It’s been tough, but I’m pushing through.
Despite everything, there’s one thing that’s kept me going: Pineapple Digital. 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the label I founded back in 2013, and while the past few years have seen me take a bit of a sabbatical (largely due to Covid and my own burnout after 35 years immersed in electronic music), I knew I had to do something special to mark this milestone.
So, I'm excited to announce that I’m back in action and curating a selection of music from the Pineapple Digital vault for a series of upcoming compilations, unreleased projects, and new material. December is going to be a big month for Pineapple Digital—it’s going to be hectic, but in the best way possible, as I celebrate a decade of music, creativity, and all of you who’ve supported the label along the way.
Thank you for your patience, your support, and for sticking with Pineapple Digital through all the highs and lows. Let’s make the next decade even better.
