In order to verify the design balance of the rear gate garnish for the EK Civic hatchback real roof wing SPEC 2, I applied some urethane foam and roughly scraped it off. I am planning to attach the gate garnish for the EK Civic to the wing body with bolts in the same way as the one for the EG Civic, which is currently under development.

We received some photos from Secret Base CEO Kitajima. His friend's shop in Gunma Prefecture, "Total Car Service HERO" (), combined a genuine EK Civic bumper with a CRX Del Sol and installed a Mode Parfume brand lip spoiler and carbon underflap. It has a very natural finish and is really cool.

We have also resumed development of the rear roof wing for the EK Civic hatchback. This rear gate garnish is not just a decoration, but is intended to act as a reinforcing pillar to support the large wing body against wind pressure, etc. Therefore, we are considering a method to connect the wing body and the garnish part so that they can be fixed with bolts. Of course, we plan to use the same method for the EG Civic.

The production process for the mass production molds for the EG Civic hatchback rear wide fenders has been completed, so we just need to wait for the fitting test products to be completed. Therefore, we will resume the development of the real roof wing Spec2, which was suspended. This new design Spec2 will have the MP emblem attached as proof of authenticity, just like the MP lip spoiler. We are currently considering the balance of the rear gate garnish. The sliding pillow upper mounts, lower brackets, and especially the dampers (shock absorbers) are manufactured with a processing tolerance of less than 2/100 to achieve a low friction structure.
