The Japanese government is promoting the global development of broadcasting content, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has set a goal of increasing overseas sales of broadcasting content from 57.1 billion to 1.5 times the amount exported in FY2020.

A large "JAPAN PAVILION" was set up at ATF Singapore 2022, one of Asia's largest content markets, and a total of 24 companies exhibited booths.

The first physical exhibition in three years attracted many buyers and sellers from all over the world.

MT in , the outskirts of Fukuoka, located a little over 1hour driving from Fukuoka city.
Due to my schedule, I only stayed for 2 hours here, but it was such a therapeutic time tasting, smelling and hearing the sound of autumn.

先日、メンバーシップ合宿で「うきは」へ。
私は別スケジュールの都合で、ここにはわずか2時間の滞在でも、田舎家庭料理を食べて、美味しい自然の空気を吸い込み散歩して、自然に癒される時間を過ごした。静けさの中でのミーティングは、頭がクリアな状態でとてもいい体験だった。度々こうして、都会の雑音から抜け出すことは心とからだの健康に良い。

It was the first time in three years that BIFF2022 was held where buyers could also participate from different countries without much COVID restrictions.
Until last year, BIFF was still mainly held online, but this year, for the first time in three years, many participants gathered from abroad, and I think the event was a great success. Official opening parties and parties hosted by film distributors were held here and there at night, and everyone spent a sleepless but exciting few days catching up and making connections until midnight.
From Japan, major distributors such as, Toei, GAGA, Toho, Kadokawa, and VIPO's joint booths, and TV stations such as Nagoya TV and ABC Animation also exhibited booths. Without a booth badge, there were many buyers from Japan, but as sellers, MBS Mainichi Broadcasting and we, KBC(GlocalK) participated at the site.
バイヤーも各国から参加ができる開催となったのは3年ぶりとなったBIFF2022.
昨年までは、BIFFもまだオンラインが主流だったが、今年は、海外から3年ぶりに多くの参加者が集まり、大盛況だったと思う。夜もあちらこちらで、オフィシャルのオープニングパーティや配給会社主催のパーティが開催され、夜中まで3年ぶりのキャッチアップとコネクションメイキングで、皆寝不足だが活気に満ちた数日間を過ごした。
日本からは、大手の東映、GAGA, 東宝、角川、VIPO合同ブースなどはもちろんのこと、テレビ局からも、名古屋テレビやABCアニメーションがブースを出展。ブースなしバッジの参加では、日本からはバイヤーが多かったようだが、セラーとしては、MBS毎日放送や、弊社KBCが現地に顔を出した。

オンラインのみの開催で、日本最大級のTV＆FILMコンテンツマーケット「TIFFCOM2022」が今日からスタートしました。
九州朝日放送での参加は見送り、12月のATFシンガーポールの方に注力します。

TIFFCOMは、日本で唯一の国際映画製作者連盟公認の国際映画祭である”東京国際映画祭（TIFF）”と併催される、アジアを代表するコンテンツマーケットです。

We are currently working on the collaborative project to introduce Japanese Sake to Shanghai and Hong Kong. Today, I went to Location scouting to check out one of the potential candidate diner to introduce in a 30 min. TV program to broadcast in Hong Kong. The challenge is to chose the place not by the Japanese preference but to match Hong Kongers' preference.
I will be doing more location scouting in the couple of days.

After 3 years of NO traveling overseas, for the first time, I flew to Busan to attend the Busan International Film Festival.
Preparing for the trip was much more complicated compared to before the pandemic, especially finding all the information for the necessary proceeding to take. Thanks to my friend from another broadcaster who helped me with the complete list of necessary procedures, I was able to return to Japan without problem.
Here below is the complete list I have updated, for Japanese travelers who are going to Korea.

3年ぶりに、韓国・釜山に出張した。出国前と日本へ入国する前までの手続きがまとまった情報サイトがなく、あちこちから情報を探してくるのが大変だった中、他の放送局の知人が、韓国渡航に必要な手続きの情報をバッチリまとめて共有してくださった。おかげで、無事に入国・帰国できた。こちらは、近日中に韓国に渡航する方のために、アップデートした最新情報。（韓国入国　10月7日　～　日本帰国　10月11日）

１．K-ETA登録https://m.k-eta.go.kr/portal/apply/index.do
こちらは日本出発の７２時間前までに登録完了せねばなりません。審査時間がかかるため、早めに登録を。（料金10000ウォン）

２．Q-CODE登録https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr/cpassportal/biz/beffatstmnt/main.do?lang=en
こちらは日本出発前であればいつでも登録可能
（ワクチン接種証明書及びPCR陰性証明書の登録が不要になったので、上記登録方法のP.13～20は表示されない。）

３．ワクチン接種証明書（３回以上）
日本帰国時にはワクチンを３回以上接種した証明書が必要。

４．帰国用PCR検査陰性証明書（該当する方のみ）ワクチンを３回以上接種していない方、あるいは接種証明書をお持ちでない方は、韓国出発の７２時間前までに現地でPCR検査を受け、英語の陰性証明書を取得しなければならない。PCRの結果が出るのに半日程時間がかかるため時間の余裕をもって。（料金65000ウォン）

５．MySOSへの登録https://www.hco.mhlw.go.jp/
日本帰国に際し登録する。こちらは日本到着の６時間前までに登録が必要なので早めに。

６．その他「税関申告書」もアプリで可能となった。
出国時にアプリダウンロードの案内がある。

BCWW Seoul 2022 began today.
This year, it is held both Online and Off-line.
Although I wanted to be at the BCWW physically, I am attending it online, and I am trying to make the best out of it.

The world front-runner production office, Studio Dragon and SLL of Korea, along with ITV studio in England, spoke at the conference about their global strategies.
To be able to listen to what they have to say about the content market strategies live (online) is worth more than buying an expensive business book.

I will make a summery report of the conference in English and Japanese and try to share the information with other production offices in Fukuoka.

Seoul continues tomorrow.
