Uprizine An intersectional feminist zine and activist organization created in 2017, to raise awareness surrounding social issues at TUJ and beyond.

UPRI-ZINE is an online intersectional feminist magazine founded in 2017, aiming to create conversation and raise awareness surrounding issues at Temple University Japan through opinion pieces, creative writing, and occasionally, informative journalism. It is run by students and for students, through the TUJ Zine Club.

All articles on this site are filtered through the editorial staff at the TUJ

Zine Club. However, the site is not maintained by and is editorially independent of Temple University Japan and Temple University. The views and opinions expressed here are not a representation of the University and are those of the respective writers.

We're always looking for new writers, illustrators, and photographers! If you are interested in contributing, feel free to attend one of our meeting sessions or contact us through our contact form. Due to the nature of the content that we cover, we welcome anonymous submissions. Meeting times for Spring 2018:
Mondays 4:45PM - 6PM in Azabu Hall 317
Thursdays 3:10PM - 3:45PM in Azabu Hall 305
