Now here is s blast from the past!

A friend in Australia just sent this through. This is a show I was in some 40 years ago with my great friend Rob Spence - Comedy. This was actually our professional theatre debut and opened on April 17th, 1985.
It was a great show and made up of actors and actual kids that were living on the street. It was a rock opera that addressed the issues of teen homelessness and drugs.
Little did we know when this photo was taken that this show and soon after, how being cast in shows at Australia’s Wonderland would so change our lives and shape our careers.

Wow 60 years of Shinks!

🚄 Japan Short Interesting Fact of the Day

Did you know, the Tokaido Shinkansen connecting Tokyo and Shin-Osaka stations marked the world’s first high-speed rail service.

In 1964 the Hikari Shinkansen departed from Tokyo Station on Oct. 1, after a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

At a similar ribbon-cutting ceremony is held today at JR Tokyo Station on Oct. 1 to mark the 60th anniversary of the Tokaido Shinkansen.

We are working on a documentary about filmmaking and production globally and are looking to talk with as many people as possible working in the Film/TV/CM/Video production industry in Japan.

The main theme of the piece is regarding freelancers but is not restricted to only freelancers. Wishing Aussies all over the globe a Happy Australia Day!

Have a great day (long weekend) and please stay safe!

Remembering what this day means to me and that is not the birth of a country but the birth of a society and multiculturalism. It got off to a bit of a rocky start but look what has been accomplished with thought for others and understanding of different backgrounds and ways of life. With more of that as we evolve as people I feel more is needed but today look around and you will realise how far we have come as a nation of tolerant and caring people. let's learn from the past and learn fro the mistakes made to make Australia even better than it already is.

Australians all let us rejoice, For we are one and free.
