Conscious Radio Archives update.
Over the last few months due to various reasons, live broadcasts have been somewhat intermittent. Recently my laptop stopped working resulting in loss of data which has since been repaired but unfortunately I committed the cardinal sin of not backing up my shows. Thankfully it's only two shows not previously uploaded that were lost which tragically includes the Tony Tuff tribute on 12th May. The other lost show was the following week on 19th May. However, Mixcloud in their infinite wisdom have locked the show from their platform because it includes a vocal track with two dub versions played consecutively which is a breach of their no more than two consecutive tracks from same "album/compilation" rule despite the fact I played it from a 12" single which is not an album or a compilation! Mixcloud really need to get to grips with the unique concept of how reggae works and adapt their rules accordingly. I will never forget the show they locked on grounds it included Madonna & Bob Marley tracks that were not actually in the show, but their audio detection system said they were and breached the rules on grounds they are tracks listed consecutively on a compilation album. The mind really does boggle! Enjoy this show which is Mixcloud's loss.
