Sure, we all know how to do nothing. We all know how to lay around and waste time. But many of us are too busy to do it much, and when we do it, our minds are often on other things. We cannot relax and enjoy the nothingness.

Doing nothing can be a waste of time, or it can be an art form.

The Deeper Meaning

For Italians, "dolce far niente" is a part of everyday life, and they do it well. It is observed in families taking a stroll together, sipping wine with friends at a café, enjoying good coffee, and watching the passersby.

Noticeably, there is a feeling of presence and truly enjoying the moment as it is. It is simple and pure. Doing nothing can be an event in itself!

During widespread power outages this week, some Texans used Ford’s new 2021 Ford F-150 models to keep warm.

The carmaker reportedly asked its dealer network in Texas to loan out their stock of F-150 PowerBoost hybrid models to help homes and businesses amid a historic winter freeze, according to a report published Thursday by Automotive News.

Equipped with onboard generators, the model has enough energy to power “28 refrigerators, charge a bed full of electric dirt bikes, or run an entire job site worth of tools,” according to Ford.
