It was formed by producer Dameon Gayle in 2005 and is currently based in Kingston, Jamaica. The name Warriors Musick came about as a result of the continuous fight and struggle to stay afloat in the competitive music business. n was born in St Andrews, Jamaica, he grew up listening to different genres of music, i.e. gospel, rock, R &B and reggae, but at age 14, it was the 90’s hit “Rally Back” by Super Cat that really peak his interest in music. During his high school days at Jamaica College he would play drums on the desktops and sing the songs of Beenie Man and Bounty Killer to entertain his classmates. At 16, he was introduced to the church and gravitated to the music department where he thought himself to play the drums, keyboard and bass guitar. Armed with hours of practice, Dameon then joined a local band playing keyboards and performing with the likes of Bob Andy, Ken Boothe, Fantan Mojah, Ward 21, Zoom Jay among others. He was later introduced to music production software by his good friend guitarist Courtland “Gizmo” White and this is where this talented producer was born. He spent countless hours learning to make beats and building riddims that his love for music caused him to quit his job as an electronic technician to become a fulltime producer and audio engineer. Dameon knew times would be hard as a fulltime producer but his passion for music was so great that he had to settle for an unsure life in the music industry. As a way of getting exposure and recognition he started Warriors Musick Production (WMP) in 2005 and produced his first riddim compilation called “Warriors with Artist” and featured such artistes as Jah Zee, Devano, Prince Alla, Rancy Chambers, Silky D, Harry Chapman, Winston Willer and many more. Dameon has since made a name for himself in the reggae world by working with a number of established artistes such as Luciano, Fantan Mojah, Lutan Fyah, Konshens, Sir Ford, Hallow Point, Mikey Melody, Mikey General, Cali P, Wasp, Devano, Stephanie Wallace, and many more. WMP has produced Album such "Fresh Medz” riddim compilation cd, “Intent” riddim compilation cd and also produced most of the tracks on Luciano’s “Write My Name” album.
