The Jamaica Publishing House Limited (JPH) was established in 1975 as the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association. Its premier objective is to encourage and facilitate the publishing of educational texts authored by Jamaican and other Caribbean educators, thereby, fulfilling the growing post-independence need to provide local/regional content for the education system.

JPH has published many works that are well recognized and stands ready to provide authors and potential authors with the requisite assistance and technical guidance needed to publish their works.

The Company invites educators to explore the publishing opportunities it has to offer as it continues on its dynamic quest to give effect to the mission statement “creating books…spreading knowledge.”
