A life spent behind the decks. Fabio Slider, the stage name is suggested to him at the beginning of his career by a speaker of Verona, who notices his unusual ability to play with the turntable sliders. For over 40 years Fabio would go to play in the best clubs in Italy and the world, succeeding in combining different genres, thanks to his eclectic vinyl collection. Every time the result is a unique in high-quality performance, which has made the DJ an inspiration for the new generations.
At the age of 14 he soon begins to develop a passion for music and everything which surrounds the world of the night. Along with some older friends, he enters his first club in Verona. Here he is immediately struck by Daniele Baldelli's technique. He spends the whole night in the booth and gets in touch with the DJ and begins to follow him in the clubs where he plays, trying to understand his secrets.
After refining the technique, to gain experience in the field, he decides to organize a series of private parties, which in a short time word spread all over the city, and his name is suddenly in the front lines. It is precisely during one of these parties that the first PRs approach him, offering him to play at “Alter Ego”, one of the most historical clubs in Verona. Owner Luigi Andreis is a crucial figure, he is the first to believe in him and give him a real chance to work.
The feedback of the audience and the colleagues is immediate, especially because Fabio presents a sound that is not present in Italy yet: NY house music, whose he begins to buy records before the others could get their hands on it, buying from Distros which span from Switzerland to England. To this day he prefers to look ahead and be carried away by new sounds of English and Dutch matrix which he discovered in Ibiza. Adding to it the Italian and American flavor.
