Yesterday night at the mighty UCM fleet had been engaged by a raiding Bioficer Flotilla. We played just a handful of rounds (I didn't have much time, working on the night shift after!) but they were enough to give the right Dropfleet vibes to my opponent Michele. Bioficers confirmed to be extremely hard hitting but hard to master (those F/N arcs don't allow much room for mistakes) but UCM on the other hand proved to be very resilient. Even more if I don't roll below 4+ 🤣🤣
May I be proud of my fully painted fleets, on my new gaming mat and complementary wrecks and asteroids? ❤️❤️❤️

Monsters behind the Masks is not just ! These classic trolls are some of the best models ever made, imho. Extremely iconic and fun to paint. One of those recently won a Golden Demon too! Such endless sculpts ❤️

My friend Korhyl Miniatures is involved in a MASSIVE project! Big names of the industry like Tuomas Pirinen, Mike Franchina and many more are creating an exciting game (Trench Crusade, of course) that's going to be launched soon!

In my last battle I committed a serious crime: I played with some unpainted models. Let's fix the mistakes of the past. I'm here to introduce you to two of the most talented Mascareri that you can find in Venice. Here there are Francisco De Lorne and Artisan Elena. Fear not the price of their masks: they worth every single ducat spent!

I bought these models like in May (omg) when together with and .it we organised a nice Ttcombat games themed day. Today is the day I painted them! (To be honest, there are still 3 left to be painted since I split the box with the excellent .paints: let's see what he's going to do with his Vatican Mascarer!)

Yesterday night we had our Carnevale fix at Ultima Alleanza Wargame Padova ! My Gifted faced a Masquerade of Patricians led by my friend Alessandro in the mission "Chase them down" from the Patricians themed campaign, in the wake of a recently released episode of Guerre a Venezia -a little experiment in the Italian version of Monsters behind the Masks podcast. I wanted to try something different and get some experience in using the Mascareri and they weren't disappointing. Unfortunately my poor Gifted were steamrolled by the Patricians (I'm especially looking at you, Venetian Noble!🤬🤬) and so further gaming and testing is now required 😅

The starter box Bioficer ships are done and ready for the hunt! I surely can bring up the contrast of these ships by a bit, probably some edge highlights on the panels would be a good thing. But for the time being I'm "good enough" with how these beauties came out!
I'm absolutely surprised by how good the value of this flotilla is (same as the one labelled as "core ships"): you get 3 cruisers, 6 frigates, 6 pods and 3 Gemini towers! It's about 500 to 600 points in game and a LOT of flexibility! Very well done !

Yesterday at Ultima Alleanza Wargame Padova I ran my very first demo game for Dropfleet Commander 2.0! Thanks to Claudio for giving me this opportunity 😉
Yes, yes I know... The ships aren't 100% painted but I'm working on that 😎
My impressions are confirmed: faster, smoother game. Every time you roll dice, they are meaningful (and usually devastating!). Ucm proved to be hard as nails while bioficers are extremely hard hitting and stealthy but less forgiving.

Can't wait to play more! 🥰🥰🥰
