The first part of the program of NEXTONES 2021 is now out. The festival deploys over one week in multiple locations in Val D'Ossola, leading the participants in an exploration of the territory through sound and research. The program features the world live premiere of The End of The World, a new project by Lubomyr Melnyk, Julia Kent and spime.im; a watery performance by Tomoko Sauvage; "Conference of Trees" live by Pantha Du Prince; a special mountain hike with Colletivo Vendül presented by Sherpa; Sara Berts presenting her latest EP "Ayni" live; a spacey djset by Goa's resident ADIEL; Radio Safari with the sound artist Felicity Mangan and an extended downbeated session with Tamburi Neri.

We are happy to announce a new collaboration with Nesta Italia within their project City of The Future. We are now hosting Claire Tolan, an American artist and programmer, with her new project. SOOTHER is an ASMR AI voice companion, a synthesized, whispered voice that will engage users in conversation and recommend ASMR content. Claire is now recording at Superbudda voice samples that will be trained to create the synthesized voice.
