Last week we successfully delivered a very complex Hybrid event for Society for International Development, United States (SID-US), live from . With the stellar team at TechChange. We co-produced more than 8 hours of live plenary sessions and pop-up studio interludes. Besides remote camera direction and graphics, we streamed the program in 3 languages and , all remotely directed and ingested via vMix Calls and NDI. Great team effort!

Pre-production and rehearsal day for a big Hybrid event live tomorrow in Washington DC. We are providing our EU-based with 3 streaming workstations, managing and directing 2 cameras, 3 languages, and 1 sign language. We will also support and stream a pop-up studio and LiveU solo roving cams.

Busy times at the studios, this week Dario Amaranto was full-on producing a complex multi-venue hybrid connecting x7 cities, while Andrea Consoli flew into London with one of our kits and worked on camera direction, vision mixing, graphics, streaming to YouTube, and ISO recordings.

We just delivered our biggest multi-venue in Germany, working for your favorite e-commerce & streaming company. We provided the blueprint, the hybrid kits, vMix engineers, and direction. We were based in Munich, Berlin, Cologne & Hamburg, with Munich being the hub.

It was very intense pre-production and testing, all based on vMix calls with HD feeds at 4Mbps.

Welcome to the new Lenovo Pro Gen 8 to the Flowlab Studios Hybrid kit fleet. The previous Gen 7 is still my in-venue encoding and vision mixing choice, but this new laptop unlocks new features we simply couldn't deliver without a bulky workstation. Mounting the latest NVIDIA and Intel i9 13th gen, this little beast has performed amazingly well during our studio vMix and tests.

The has brought laptops to a new level of performance while making our lives much better!

Live POV directing this week's 9 hours streaming marathon. Our client was on stage in (USA), sending us camera live feeds and our studios working as a directing hub:

- Distributing worldwide production comms (Unity cloud server)
- Directing cameras
- Applying graphics & launching lower thirds
- Managing 2 interpretation languages
- Overlaying ASL (American Sign Language)
- Directing a Pop-up studio for presenter interviews (via vMix calls)
- Directing a roving camera (via LiveU Solo)
- Streaming to 3 destinations

Big shout to TechChange for coordinating a very complex and long production with more than 1k live audience, and even more watching worldwide with high engagement.

As an Italian-British worldwide operating business with Hybrids and Virtual production, it's a true Honour to be working for the Italian Government's Camera dei Deputati "House of Representatives". Speakers included The Italian Minister of Economy and Finance, the Vice President of the Chamber, and the Director of Italian Customs.

We used our London studio to ingest on-site cameras and streamed out to a nationwide audience, Live on the Italian Parliament website.

Last week we produced a complex virtual event, managing and mixing 20+ MS Teams NDI live feeds for a single competition session. This was part of a longer content-heavy live program, we worked on cluster shots with groups of 5-8 presenters to make it manageable. Our 10G network and 3 Teams NDI machines worked perfectly!

We take sound seriously.
Virtual & Hybrid events streaming usually have different audio sources with wide Dynamic and Frequency ranges (videos, live mics, remote presenters, live music, etc.)

Here we are setting up and testing a Waves Audio plugin chain in vMix to control and refine remote presenters' audio.

Back at the News UK building in London for a special Hybrid streaming about Disability, Technology & Innovation.
To ensure the accessibility of our sessions and videos, we had live captions and sign language for both streaming and in-venue audience.

As we produce more in the EU and plan a few in the US in 2023, we have acquired our 3rd Sonnet Echo Express SE-IIIe TB3 PCIe, a very solid and reliable PCIe Thunderbolt 3 expansion. In this configuration, we can ingest 8 HDMI feeds and 4 SDI ins or outs. Hybrid Kit 3 is now complete!
