A Day With a Pole Dancer

C’è del pregiudizio rispetto alla pole dance, ma attraverso le parole dell’istruttrice Valentina Venditti scopriremo cosa c’è davvero dietro questa disciplina: allenamento, studio e sacrificio. Capiremo inoltre come la pole dance possa essere un toccasana sia per il corpo che per l’anima.
Ho girato questo mini doc per partecipare all’edizione 2017 del contest ‘My Rode Reel’ ma anche per misurarmi con un tema a me totalmente sconosciuto.

There’s a lot of prejudice about pole dance, but through the words of the Italian instructor Valentina Venditti we’ll discover what’s really behind this discipline: training, study, and sacrifice.
We'll also understand how pole dance can be a cure-all both for body and soul.
I produced this mini-doc to take part in ‘My Rode Reel 2017’ competition but also to measure myself with something totally unknown to me.

Alberobello is a small town in Apulia (South Italy) internationally know for 'Trulli', a unique kind of home. It's also a UNESCO site and every year million people from all over the world come to see this town where time seems to be stopped many years ago.

Short and Branded Documentaries Reel 2016

Sintesi dei mini documentari che ho girato nel 2016, alcuni di questi sono narrativi mentre altri sono brandizzati. Per quanto riguarda i mini doc narrativi, mi sono occupato dell’intero processo produttivo: ricerca della storia, scrittura, preparazione dell’intervista che poi avrebbe fatto da voce narrante, riprese, montaggio e color grading. Quando invece ho prodottp i brand film ho collaborato con la direttrice creativa romana Elisabetta Alicino (www.elisabettaalicino.com)
This is a summary of the documentaries I did in 2016, some of them are narratives and others are branded. In narrative mini-docs I've taken care of the whole production process: finding the story, writing the script, preparing the interview for the talking parts, filming, editing, and grading. When I instead produced brand films I've worked closely with the Rome based creative director Elisabetta Alicino (www.elisabettaalicino.com).

Le cannucce sono tra i cinque beni di consumo inquinanti più presenti negli oceani e l’organizzazione no-profit ‘Laboratorio Zip’ ha promosso la campagna di sensibilizzazione ‘Rinuncia alla canniccia’, che consiste nella raccolta di cannucce usate per poi riciclarle. Lo scopo della campagna è quello di creare tendine decorative per le fermate degli autobus di Torino.
Il promo è stato girato nella casa di quartiere +Spazio4, che ha messo a disposizione i suoi spazi

The straws are one of the five most polluting consumer goods in the ocean, so the no-profit organization ‘Laboratorio Zip’ has promoted the awareness campaign ’Rinuncia alla cannuccia’ (‘Give up the straw’ in English) to pick up used straws and recycle them. The purpose of this campaign is to create curtains to decorate bus stops around the city of Turin (Italy).This promo has been filmed at +Spazio 4, a district house that kindly has made available its spaces.
