🤩Interesting journey along the CreaTourES routes in Slovenia for the Urbanistični inštitut Republike Slovenije CREATURES Press Tour, that was held in February and was organized in three moments:
✔️ presentation of the both new Routes
✔️boat-tour on Ljubljanica river to learn more about the first CreaTourES cultural route "Where the River goes, there I wanna be - Bridges and banks of Ljubljanica river"
✔️ "virtual" tour along the second on the second CreaTourES cultural route “the journey of a young soldier on the Soča front”, located in the picturesque Posočje, in the vicinity of Kobarid.
🔝 Thanks to the CREATURES project and its innovative side, now it is possible to connect with digital archives and make the unique outdoor tour virtually accessible to a wider audience, especially the younger generation.

📣 Two days of CREATURES Press Tour for the Ekonomski fakultet Univerziteta u Sarajevu, during which local journalists had the opportunity to discover and experience the two CreaTourES cultural routes developed in Bosnia-Herzegovina, “Eat, Pray, Love” and “From East to West”!

🤩 Ekonomski fakultet Univerziteta u Sarajevu organized and realized its final local dissemination event last February in Sarajevo as ‘world café’ that aimed to bring together local stakeholders – partners, tourist agenicies, local government representatives, etc. that were involved in all phases of Creatures project.
💡 Also thanks to the heterogeneity of the public composed by local stakeholders, representatives of the tourism association of Sarajevo Canton, representatives of local tourist agencies and representatives of local government officials, the discussion was vivid and all the attendees had the opportunity to participate asking questions, giving suggestions and feedbacks about the
✔️ sustainability and innovation in tourism
✔️ benefits from CREATURES routes
✔️ the possible strategies to ensure and strengthen the involvement of local actors

🟢🔵Finalni događaj projekta CREATURES

Ekonomski fakultet Univerziteta u Sarajevu implementira projekat Promocija kreativnog turizma putem novih iskustvenih i održivih ruta - CREATURES (engl. Promoting Creative Tourism through new Experiential Sustainable routes) koji ima za ima za cilj doprinijeti promociji i unapređenju prirodnog i kulturnog naslijeđa jadransko-jonske regije kroz održive i inovativne aktivnosti u cilju razvoja novih formi iskustvenog turizma.

Kako je projekat u fazi završetka, održan je finalni događaj CREATURES projekta sa kratkim programom prezentacije sažetka Lokalnog akcionog plana odnosno predstavljanja kulturalnih turističkih ruta razvijenih u okviru projekta. Prezentovani su i najinteresantniji projektni rezultati koji uključuju prezentaciju portala i mobilne aplikacije CreaToures uz kafu i druženje kao i diskusiju o održivosti i inovacijama novih CREATURES ruta u regionalnom i lokalnom okruženju, te značaju lokalnih stakeholdera u promociji turističkih i kulturnih sadržaja.

📣Do you know that one of the main results of the CREATURES project is the creation of a mobile app dedicated to discover Points of Interest and Itineraries in the Adriatic-Ionian region and makes it easy to navigate the most enchanting places and experiences❓

Thanks to the CreaTourES mobile app it will be possible to:
✔️See the routes chosen by each country
✔️ read a short description for each one
✔️ see all the info about the Point of Interest by only scanning a QR code
✔️ Plan your own route
✔️ Get tips about the route to follow on the basis of interests, destination and duration of the trip, etc.
✔️ Next location to visit according to the location (GPS) and time, ✔️ Give a vote (like) to all the point of interestes visited
✔️ locate nearby points of interest by selecting the AR button in the application and the opening of the mobile camera

🔝 It aims to inform a wider audience (general public, CCIs, policy makers, cultural heritage & tourism sectors’ operators, universities and R&I centres, etc.) about the different outputs developed & final results achieved (also inspiring new future projects and networks), thus enhancing the project dissemination action.

🤩 On the 21st and the 22nd January, Patras Science Park realized a Press Tour dedicated to the CREATURES project, in terms of "Route of Creativity Network" and the "Bike Route of Mountainous Nafpaktia", the two CreaTourES cultural routes, the principal results and deliverables of the project, and the two digital applications (the mobile app and the Multimedia information station).
5️⃣ renowned representatives from electronic and printed National and Local Media toured some Point of Interstes of the two cultural routes, living the true local essence visiting historical and cultural heritage, learning about local gastronomy, meeting inhabitants and famous local actors.
💡 Thanks to the mobile application, the Multimedia Installations and the project web portal (www.portal.creatoures.eu. ) the participants had the opportunity to visit the route digitally and see the points of interest not included in the Press Tour.

🔝 The second CreaTourES cultural route from Ekonomski fakultet Univerziteta u Sarajevu is called “Eat, Pray, Love” wants to link tangible and intangible cultural heritage through history and local food culture leading tourists to discover the heart of Ottoman architecture, Sarajevo’s Baščaršija, admire historical sites from Austro-Hungarian rule, experience local hospitality over a cup of warm Bosnian coffee, and learn the difference between,”burek “and all other pies along a four hours walking tour.

🧐After the Julius Caesar’s Itinerary, let's go on with the second CreaTourES cultural route from DRTK Vlorë "Spinarica Itinerary", that allows tourists to discover an important medieval center on the Adriatic 🌊 coast.
The route is designed in the old paths of Spinarica and allows you to discover one of the most important historical points of interest like the Monastery of Saint Mary in Zvernec and the Archeological Park of Apollonia, and natural points like Narta Lagoon.

🔝One of the CreaTourES cultural route from Ekonomski fakultet Univerziteta u Sarajevu in Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 aims to describe the historical transition from the Ottoman Empire to the Austro-Hungarian Empire through a guided walking tour!
🧐 Targeting to younger tourists as well as young residents (primarily students) since it is rich with visual educational materials created with the aim to implement an interactive approach, this cultural route is a kind of contrastive analysis of culture and life in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Ottoman Empire and what changes were brought by Austro-Hungarian Empire.

👇📣📹0⃣👉🤩❓Last Monday, 16 January the CREATURES partners met online for the last partner meeting to talk about the last activities should be implemented by February when CREATURES project will close.
📱 The first part of the meeting focused on the the CreaTourES mobile App and the practical tests related to that, and the Multimedia Installations productions, that are in progress in all the Regions involved in the project.
👉Then, the Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia took the floor introducing the project partners with a summary of the methodology established for the development of the Pilot Actions to test the CreaTourES routes.
🧐 Furthermore, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region presented an overview about both the state of art of the communication and dissemination activities, as the Local Dissemination Events and the Press Tours, and the Final Report on the project, that will be finalized and released in the next week.
🔝 The project meeting concluded with a presentation led by the Metropolitan City of Bologna, Lead Partner of the project, focused on the management of the project, in terms of the state of implementation and the project outputs that are still missing, the Target Group achieved, the administrative and financial issues, and the invitation received from the CCI4TOURISM project team to set out a Creative Hubs Network.

🤩Interreg ADRION talks about the Creatures Project and one of the biggest results achieved by Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia thanks to the project, namely the "talking postcard", a postcard that allows young tourists to log on to the portal, learn everything about each point of interest using audio and video recordings available in several languages, and thoroughly enjoy the routes. Targeted mapping and coordinated promotion strategies in cultural tourism guaranteed maximum coverage and reached new areas still in search of their tourist vocation.
