STARSONIA INDIE NEWS is the name of a specialized radio program
which has been broadcasted for more than thirty years. Franzi Baroni is the program’s author and conductor - one of the most
long-liv
ed ones in the world of Italian private radios. STARSONIA is on the air every day in the afternoon on the frequencies
of Studio 100 Radio (belonging to the Studio 100 broadcasting group,
with four radio stations, two satellite and one terrestrial TV’s), and it is
almost entirely dedicated to spreading and promoting international
independent record labels. The program also dedicates retrospective moments to the music of the
past (progressive, wave, rock and experimental), but it’s mainly
focused on the new musical trends and their fusions,with a preference
for electronic music and rock in general. Thanks to its close collaboration with the major Italian indie labels
(distributing and promoting international independent record labels),
STARSONIA provides a wide overview on the most original, alternative,
innovative and high-quality international music productions. In addition, the long-lasting collaborations with newspapers, festival
organizations, art directions, together with Franzi Baroni’s “travelling”
events in many venues (not only in Puglia), have contributed greatly to
the divulgation of indie music in all its different aspects. On the STARSONIA’s monthly playlist you can find all the records and
