It’s when you realize that clean topology actually matters, that good lighting isn’t just about throwing in an HDRI, that there’s a reason some compositions just work. It’s about understanding why things look good so you can make better creative choices on purpose.

Too much freedom can be paralyzing. When everything is possible, where do you begin? Creativity isn’t just about endless exploration, ideas needs structure to take shape, to become something clear and impactful.

The Emperor is that structure. He’s the framework that holds an idea together, not just conceptually but visually. In 3D and digital art, this is the moment when rules become a tool, not a cage. It’s choosing a limited color palette to create coherence, defining proportions to give balance, setting constraints so that every element serves a purpose. Limits don’t kill creativity—they refine it, making an image stronger, more consistent, more real.

This card reminded me that boundaries aren’t obstacles; they can become the foundation of powerful designs.

The High Priestess also represents intuition before words, the knowledge that reveals itself only to those who have the patience to seek it.

After the Fool’s leap into the unknown, here comes the Magician: a symbol of taking control, mastering your tools, and turning ideas into reality.
It’s the moment where raw energy gets a purpose and chaos becomes creation.
The Magician knows exactly what he’s doing—he’s got the skills, the tools, and the drive to make things happen.

Just like the Magician masters the elements, a 3D artist rules the core of their craft: modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering. It’s that turning point where intuition meets technique, and inspiration transforms into something real.

If the Fool made me explore an aesthetic, the Magician challenged me to prove it could stand strong. Creativity isn’t just about having ideas—it’s about knowing how to shape them with method, discipline, and a little bit of magic.

“Arrangiarsi” is an Italian word that means making the most of what you have, finding creative solutions when resources are limited. It doesn’t have a direct translation in English, but it represents a mindset where constraints become opportunities.

In this 3d project, the photographer and his team had to craft a professional work in an almost improvised set, limited space, and minimal gear. Yet, through creativity and ingenuity, the result is something that appears polished and professional. This ability to “arrangiarsi” is essential, not just in photography but also in 3D art.

In the world of 3D, we don’t always have access to the most powerful hardware or perfect render engines, but what matters is the determination to overcome those limits and create something great.

When I was 8 years old, I had a big box of sets, both bought and gifted. It was a treasure trove of endless possibilities where every piece could become something new: robots, cars, helicopters, houses... As time went on, my projects grew more ambitious, often lacking the necessary pieces. So, I found myself cutting blocks to fit my creations perfectly.

The key was to never interrupt the creative flow.

As my projects became more complex, I wanted to animate my objects, moving beyond static LEGO sculptures. I started integrating external elements like electric motors, toothpicks, and popsicle sticks. My box filled up with tape, string, nails, bulbs, and other components. It was no longer just a LEGO box, but my box of creativity.

From this experience, I learned three essential things:

1- Thinking outside the box is crucial because every system has its limits.
2- In pursuing my projects, I acquired soft skills like building electrical circuits or reversing a motor’s polarity.
3- Combining different elements inevitably leads to the creation of something new.

Today, even though I’ve grown up, my approach hasn’t changed. After mastering a skill, I always look to combine it with something else.
What used to be LEGO is now 3D for me: a limitless world capable of bringing any idea or project to life.

What hasn’t changed is the fun and fulfillment I get from experimenting. My inner child reminds me daily that what I now call WORKING started as PLAYING
