Gix Music label was founded in 2011 by Giovanni Pizzi known as Gixhouze (organist, composer, arranger, DAW programmer and producer) and is based in San Vincenzo, province of Livorno, in the Tuscany region (Italy). It is in direct collaboration with the Casissima Music label of Florence, also in Tuscany. In fact, among the DJs who gravitate around Gix Music, the most important is Lore J, owner of Casissima Music. Mainly the work is oriented on all the various kinds of House Music and Electronica, but remaining open to projects of other musical genres, with the support of numerous musicians, including Roberto Federighi (drums), Marco Franci (guitar), Alessandro Riccucci (winds), Marco Frulletti (bass), Sabina Manetti (vocals), Silvia Lilith Bientinesi (vocals), Biagio Volandri Verdolini (vocals), Gianluca Ferri (composer), Ex Human (composer), and DJs like Samuel Kimkò, Alex Dee and Annina Dj (Anna Meucci). Giovanni Pizzi was born in Livorno (Italy) on 11 October 1961. In 1985, after meeting singer Sabina Manetti, he joins the rock band “VU Meter”. In 1988, it was Alessandro Riccucci who introduced him to the “Bluesisterici”. In 1989, he meets Roberto Federighi and guitarist Ranieri Cerelli, both founders of the rock-new wave band “Neon” in Florece. With them he participates in the “Ch’i” project, and in 1992 creates a Progressive-House production with the brief collaboration of DJ Gabry Fasano. From then on Gixhouze starts collaborating with DJs. His inspiration comes from friend DJs Roby J, Stefano Noto, Francesco Farfa, Miki and Gabry Fasano, later followed by Sandro Vibot, Mario Più and Lore J. Collaborations worth mentioning include, in 1996-98, DJ Samuel Kimkò, with whom he produce mixes involving DJs such as Claudio Diva, Bruno Le Kard, Alex Cignè, Alex Dee, Giuliano Dulmin, Giorgia B., Sandro Vibot and Lore J. Other collaborations: Roby J and DJ Vincent Cornetto from Washington.
