Created in 1989, the 'Underground' label reached the top of the charts with artists such as Anticappella. They were also responsible for licensing globally successful acts like 2 Unlimited for the Italian territory. In 1996 the label was rebranded, with the musical sound changing from 'progressive trance' to 'techno', thus becoming more of a 'sister' label to BXR. Underground became an imprint for

experimental music, emerging producers and well known artists releasing under different aliases, in order to test out fresh new sounds and styles.
