Yesterday with the great Egidio Marchitelli we did a first profiling test with the new “tone catch” algorithm implemented on the Ampero 2 and it responded very faithfully. The presets remain compatible between the three models of the II series, but at the moment the stomp imports the preset without profile (only the effects). I am sure that soon there will be a firmware update for the Stomp to make it at least compatible in reading on the profiles. It is truly becoming a very valid machine at an entry level cost. The only flaw is the slight background noise even in bypass.
