Giuseppe Palermo, classe 98, nasce a Palermo.
La sua passione per la musica matura tra i club e le disco della sua città ed inizia così a cimentarsi in questo mondo nel 2016.
La prima esperienza dietro i piatti inizia con il format Dock’s Lab nel 2019.
Dock’s Lab punta tantissimo sui giovani talenti con l’obbiettivo di farli emergere.
Nel 2020 inizia le prime esperienze di music production a Berlino, all’Apollo Studio, e nel settembre dello stesso anno rilascia il suo primo Ep: “The Replayer”. Nel 2021 inizia a frequentare a Roma “Electronic Music Division”, studiando teoria musicale e sound design. Nel dicembre dello stesso anno rilascia un Ep “NO TIME NO SPACE”.
Nel Febbraio 2022 inizia una collaborazione trimestrale con la radio palestinese “Radio Alhara”, dove si esibisce con un suo nuovo format: “The Mediterranean dream show”, dando spazio a visioni musicali più introspettive e ripescando dischi italiani anni ‘80, tra grandi classici e brani più ricercati. Molte sono le sonorità che contraddistinguono Giuseppe Palermo durante un dj set: dall’house music di Chicago / NY al ritmo garage inglese, passando talvolta anche per vie electro e Italo disco.
