From the Depths of to the Radiance of Light.

On this so-called , turn the day’s melancholic hues into a journey of discovery with The Color of Light (2023), the first monograph dedicated to Joël Denot. His photography eludes easy definition—neither purely figurative nor abstract, it unfolds as a meditation on shape, color, and the void. Layers of colors play against shadows, creating an intricate dance between light and perception.

Denot’s intimate and methodical approach, honed over decades, is also showcased at the in the exhibition Plaques Sensibles, running until March 8.

Our Connection to the Universe.

The book Resonances and the eponymous 2020 exhibition at the are inspired by the reflection of Gulumbu Yunupingu, a Yolngu artist from the Arnhem Land (Northern Australia):

“I looked at the universe, I looked at this place, Earth, the people, and the stars, and I thought: we are exactly like the stars. Grouped together, very close to each other. In fact, we are one, like the stars. There are so many of us living on Earth. The Earth, the sea, the sky, it’s a continuum. It’s one and the same thing.”

This powerful message invites us to reconsider our relationship with the environment and the entire universe.

“This painting is truly special.
People outside the APY Lands might see it as being a beautiful artwork. They will respond to the colour and design. The truth is this painting holds powerful memories for the women of all the APY communities. This painting is our history. It marks a very important and powerful time for Anangu women. This is what we see, what Anangu women will always see when we look at this work”.

A Testament to Indigenous Australian Art.

“This painting camp was a true cultural celebration. (...) Women came from every community across the APY Lands to make this work together. It was a wonderful time, full of love and laughter. Full of song”. (Yaritji Young)

Crafted in 2018, these artworks reflect the deep-rooted tradition of collaboration in Aboriginal art, intertwining “Dreaming Stories” to celebrate culture and the land’s intimate knowledge. The Kulata Tjuta installation, with its 1500 spears, symbolizes contemporary Anangu society’s dynamic journey.

“Tradition is husbanding fire, not adoring ashes.”

🍷 Starting from this quote attributed to Mahler, Fondation pour la culture et les civilisations du vin, with headquarters in Bordeaux, decided to invite eminent figures in the glass design field to reflect on it.

📖 The result is a book that explores the unique relationship between wine and its containers.

Featuring designers like Achille Castiglioni and Gaetano Pesce, the book shows how glass objects can transcend mere functionality and enhance the wine-tasting experience itself.

Can You?

More than just a question, the iconic “Can You Pass the Acid Test?” poster encapsulates the essence of the 1960s counterculture.

Created to promote the Grateful Dead’s legendary “Acid Tests,” these events were a fusion of music, experimentation, and the quest for expanded consciousness. The question posed in the poster wasn’t just about a drug test—it was an invitation to challenge societal norms and explore new realms of experience.

This poster still resonates today as a reminder of how the 1960s revolutionized art, culture, and the way we perceive reality.

Something red.

When fashion meets pop art, the result is pure genius.

Andy Warhol’s Souper Dress (1960) takes the iconic Campbell’s Soup Can and turns it into something entirely unexpected—high fashion.

This playful piece isn’t just a dress, but a statement about consumer culture and the blending of everyday objects with art. Warhol’s work blurs the lines between luxury and the mundane, making the Souper Dress a symbol of 1960s pop culture and the genius of turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.
