Munich Penthouse

This penthouse is owned by a couple from Munich who split their time between Germany and the US. For their home in Altbogenhausen they wanted light, open spaces in soft colours and materials as well as lots of outdoor living space. They commissioned Paris based interior design team Studio Catoir to plan the complete layout of their new home.

Magness - Frank Lloyd Wright

Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you" said Frank Lloyd Wright. Sarah Magness, architect and designer at studiomagness, made this quote her own by going to live in the iconic Socrates Zaferiou House designed by Wright himself in the midst of nature in the Hudson Valley. In this Usonian house, for which the famous architect also designed the furnishings which have remained almost unchanged, one notices the use of materials closely linked to the place, such as mahogany wood, and the search for a constant dialogue between interior and exterior.
