This weekend we inaugurated the 4th edition of . The curatorial theme of this edition, proposed by the curators Luca Berta and Francesca Giubilei, is Auto-Exotic.

Venice Design Biennial invited over 70 designers to present their vision in a city that is the cradle of the concept of the exotic, a hinge between West and East, where the account of Marco Polo’s legendary journey, for the first time, opened new horizons to the gaze and to the imagination applied to an elsewhere beyond the limits of known experience.

The Main Group Exhibition is taking place in four different locations: SPARC*- Spazio Arte Contemporanea (Campo Santo Stefano)
SPUMA - Space for the Arts (Giudecca)
San Sebastiano bowls club (Fondamenta Briati)
Tucul N.26 Des Bains 1900 Luxury Beach Club (Lido).

We are so thrilled to be working on a project where design shows its best side. “Design for Communities” is the result of the collaboration between Liveinslums and designer Giacomo Moor , that will exhibit beds, tables and benches designed for the refectory and dorm of the elementary school in Mathare, one of the largest Slums in Nairobi. The pieces will be showcased at ASSAB ONE together with the photographs by Francesco Giusti Alessandro Treves Mattia Zoppellaro Filippo Romano from Perimetro .
