Una libreria cocktail bar con un palco per eventi e concerti: se la formula del Germi è la contaminazione, la sperimentazione è il nostro DNA.

I nostri associati ci scelgono riconoscendosi in questa formula e l’incoraggiamento che ne deriva non può che spingerci ad osare, a sperimentare insieme esperienze impensabili altrove.

Abbiamo immaginato di proporre una domenica dai tempi dilatati in un ambiente intimo e accogliente, con i libri in consultazione gratuita e un Bartender esperto a disposizione.

RALLENTA LA DOMENICA è la formula pomeridiana del settimo giorno, una sospensione alchemica che allontana il lunedì. In questo sogno non affideremo la colonna sonora gli algoritmi delle playlist.

Osiamo immaginare che il tappeto musicale ideale della domenica al Germi debba aprirsi a proposte in sintonia con questa formula, eseguite dal vivo da musicisti della scena ambient internazionale.

Affideremo l’atmosfera di RALLENTA LA DOMENICA a firme di rilievo in collaborazione con le migliori etichette del settore che con maestria e discrezione arrederanno il Germi di tappeti volanti, panorami sonori, trame in cui perdersi o ritrovarsi davvero.

Progetto del musicista sardo Francesco Perra, un viaggio sonoro tra Ambient, Post-Rock e Psichedelia. Conosciuto per creare paesaggi sonori sognanti e immersivi, Perry Frank unisce drones eterei, glitch e influenze del folklore sardo per offrire un’esperienza musicale unica e coinvolgente.

Con una ricca discografia di album, EP e collaborazioni con artisti di fama internazionale, Perry Frank rappresenta un punto di riferimento per gli amanti della musica atmosferica e meditativa. In collaborazione con l’etichetta Cassis Records.

“Abbash” is the new song by Angelo Trabace, second single and title track of the next album by the pianist, author and composer, coming out in spring for Cassis Records with Artist First distribution.

After the previous Animali Confusi, the new single, produced by Angelo Trabace and Matteo Cantaluppi, gives the title to the upcoming album by introducing its most intimate meaning: “Abbash”, a dialect term meaning “Down”, evokes the descent into the hidden depths of the roots, material and immaterial, with their chaotic and (apparently) invisible movement.

Music and images are closely connected in the song, which begins with a lullaby on the Fender Rhodes, only apparently reassuring, and then explodes - as in a sudden blurring, a break from reality - in a vortex of visions, dreamlike journeys, dispersion that sinks into the bowels of the earth. Through a game of flashbacks and free associations, music becomes a blinding experience, transforming the perception of the present into a hypnotic and unpredictable dance.

Angelo Trabace is an Italian pianist, author and composer.
Having graduated at a very young age in piano at the “E.R.Duni” Conservatory in Matera, he continued his studies in Bologna, where he obtained a degree in Modern Literature.
In 2021 he published “Sbarco” for Sugar Music Publishing, his first solo album, distributed by Believe Music Italia.

He has been collaborating for years with the world of Italian song as a composer, arranger and keyboardist for Colapesce Dimartino, Francesco Bianconi (Baustelle), Vasco Brondi (Le Luci Della Centrale Elettrica) and Tommaso Paradiso, performing live on the stages of the most important theaters, arenas, clubs and international festivals with more than three hundred concerts under his belt.

Over the years he has conceived, written and performed several original shows including “Io non so più chi suono – crisi d’ identità al piano-bar” (2017) which blends classical music, improvisations and monologues in an exhilarating happening and “Sognare Fellini: Visioni e amarcord sonori di Nino Rota” (2022), presented on the occasion of the centenary of the director’s birth in the historic setting of the Cinema Fulgor in Rimini and within the Dolcevita-sur-Seine festival in Paris.

He also curates the tenth edition of Meraviglioso Modugno in Polignano a Mare (BA) as host and arranger.

In 2022, together with his brother Alessandro Trabace and Sebastiano De Gennaro, he gives life to the experimental music project Metameccanici.

In 2024, he performed the Italian premiere of the solo piano compositions of the Ethiopian composer Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou at the Casa degli Artisti, during the Milan Music Week.

He is currently working on his second solo album (to be released in spring 2025), and on the soundtrack of the feature film “Orfeo”, the first work by director Virgilio Villoresi.

‘Dario Argento PANICO’ is the original soundtrack written by Alessandro Baldessari for the documentary presented at the last Venice Film Festival. It is a kaleidoscopic work, which ties in with the themes of the film, immersing the viewer in a surprising musical journey, between electronic and acoustic music.

is the soundtrack linked to the novel by . voice and author of the cult bands Carver, Sequoia, and previously frontman of Motel 20099, as well as a poet, businessman, explorer and attacking midflieder left. In perfect harmony with the book - an epic metropolitan noir ride, violent, brutal, irreverent and poetic as only a suburban sonnet can, and can be - the songs created by offer the listener a journey that is sometimes sinister, other times disturbing, always immersive.

“When Marco gave me the first draft of his book, I was already accustomed to his aesthetic, made of urban landscapes, old friends, violence and suburbs. Like when you enter the tavern you have always frequented to escape the chaos of contemporaneity, and inside you find the dear old photos and the dear old menu. For me “Di Ferro e Cuoio” is this: a dive into the dear old world of Marco. And reading his stories allows me to distance myself for a while from the uncertainty of the 1920s that have just begun.”

Born in Berlin, the ideas for this album, made of empty spaces, rarefactions and noises, were refined and compiled only after the author of the novel proposed to Matteo Cantaluppi to curate a sort of musical accompaniment for the book.
A perfectly successful synaesthetic synergy.

Di Ferro e Cuoio è la soundtrack legata all’omonimo romanzo di Marco M. Colombo. voce e penna della cult band Carver, dei Sequoia, e precedentemente frontman dei Motel 20099, nonché poeta, uomo d’affari, esploratore ed ala sinistra. In perfetta armonia con il romanzo, - un’epica cavalcata noir metropolitana, violenta, brutale, irriverente e poetica come solo un sonetto di periferia sa, e può essere - i brani creati da Matteo Cantaluppi offrono all’ascoltatore un viaggio a volte sinistro, altre inquietante, sempre immersivo.

Nate a Berlino, le idee per questo album, fatto di spazi vuoti, rarefazioni e rumori, sono state rifinite e compilate solo dopo che l’autore del romanzo ha proposto a Matteo Cantaluppi di curare una sorta di accompagnamento musicale per il libro.
Sinergia sinestetica perfettamente riuscita.

Carver is the all-seeing eye on a cinematic world, in a hide-and-seek of references, samples, instruments, narrative voice and heavy silences.
After the sinister and monolithic “L’altra faccia della luna” (Tataki Records) of 2021, unanimously acclaimed by critics, Carver return in December 2023 with “T.R.I.P.” a new work equally cinematic but with iridescent and psychedelic hues to escape the terrible urban neuroses of the previous album and to let themselves go to the dreamy flow of an eternal and circular mantra.

“H(ost)” is the first solo album by , one of the most talented Italian saxophonists, released on October 4, 2024 via Cassis Records.

The album, which contains the first 7 unreleased works by the artist, was well received by music critics, who praised its realization across the board, confirming its creativity.
