Matteo Sand is the project of the music producer Matteo Sandri who in 2020 began to feel the desire to give vent to his creativity. The desire, which is at the base of the project, is to detach oneself as much as possible from the classic composition approach and from the use of the computer as a creative medium, giving vent to one’s ingenuity to be able to translate one’s ideas using hardware instruments. The synchrony between the machines, the desire to achieve a timbre objective only with the means available and the limit of the equipment characterize and influence the musical idea.

Matteo Sand è il progetto del produttore musicale Matteo Sandri che nel 2020 ha cominciato a sentire il desiderio di dare sfogo alla propria creatività. Il desiderio, che sta alla base del progetto, è staccarsi il più possibile dall’approccio classico di composizione e dall’utilizzo del computer come mezzo creativo, dando sfogo all’ingegno per riuscire a tradurre le proprie idee utilizzando strumenti hardware. La sincronia tra le macchine, la volontà di raggiungere un obbiettivo timbrico solo con i mezzi a disposizione ed il limite delle apparecchiature caratterizzano e influenzano l’idea musicale.

Alessandro Baldessari is a composer, sound designer and producer, known for combining electronic, classical and pop music with sound design, creating immersive and engaging sound experiences. He began his musical journey studying the bagpipe at the age of 9, developing a passion for the exploration of sound that has accompanied him since his childhood.
In 2014 he moved to Bath, UK, to work at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios.
His compositions - used in numerous international television broadcasts, including BBC, TF1, Arte France, Rai and Discovery Channel - range from film scores to immersive audio installations and theatre performances.
For Cassis Records, he had the honor of composing the soundtrack for the Dario Argento documentary PANICO, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival in 2023 and is distributed worldwide. The documentary boasts the participation of illustrious guests such as Dario Argento, Guillermo del Toro, Nicolas Winding Refn and Gaspar Noè.

Il mio mestiere è fatto spesso di piccoli dettagli, almeno io cerco di farlo cosi.
Sono piccoli dettagli costruiti in una vita, che per la maggior parte delle persone sono inutili o impercettibili.
Siamo nell’epoca della narrazione e i piccoli dettagli non fanno notizia, non sono funzionali.
Poi arriva qualcuno che capta i tuoi segnali, cosi come fanno tra di loro i delfini. E io mi emoziono, è più forte di me.

Marco Scipione is an Italian saxophonist, considered one of the most relevant names in the emerging scene.

Anomalous saxophonist, virtuoso in jazz and fusion but with a solid background in rock and metal, he is one of the main users of effects on his instrument that he distorts and modifies, inspired by Kurt Cobain, Tom Morello’s riffs and the ethereal sound suggestions of Radiohead. An approach that he fully expresses in his post punk hardcore trio DANG!
The passion for soundtracks, research music, videogames have pushed Marco to continuous sound explorations, matured in various projects and solo concerts.
The rock and experimental souls close in a perfect and heterogeneous musical triangle with his activity as a session man that sees him tour the world together with some of the most authoritative Italian pop and jazz artists (Eros Ramazzotti, Mario Biondi, Tommaso Paradiso).

“H(ost)” is Marco Scipione’s debut as a soloist. Recorded at Bunker Studio in Brooklyn, it is a sax-only album, with no overdubs or loops.

Una libreria cocktail bar con un palco per eventi e concerti: se la formula del Germi è la contaminazione, la sperimentazione è il nostro DNA.

“Abbash” is the new song by Angelo Trabace, second single and title track of the next album by the pianist, author and composer, coming out in spring for Cassis Records with Artist First distribution.

After the previous Animali Confusi, the new single, produced by Angelo Trabace and Matteo Cantaluppi, gives the title to the upcoming album by introducing its most intimate meaning: “Abbash”, a dialect term meaning “Down”, evokes the descent into the hidden depths of the roots, material and immaterial, with their chaotic and (apparently) invisible movement.

Music and images are closely connected in the song, which begins with a lullaby on the Fender Rhodes, only apparently reassuring, and then explodes - as in a sudden blurring, a break from reality - in a vortex of visions, dreamlike journeys, dispersion that sinks into the bowels of the earth. Through a game of flashbacks and free associations, music becomes a blinding experience, transforming the perception of the present into a hypnotic and unpredictable dance.

Angelo Trabace is an Italian pianist, author and composer.
Having graduated at a very young age in piano at the “E.R.Duni” Conservatory in Matera, he continued his studies in Bologna, where he obtained a degree in Modern Literature.
In 2021 he published “Sbarco” for Sugar Music Publishing, his first solo album, distributed by Believe Music Italia.

He has been collaborating for years with the world of Italian song as a composer, arranger and keyboardist for Colapesce Dimartino, Francesco Bianconi (Baustelle), Vasco Brondi (Le Luci Della Centrale Elettrica) and Tommaso Paradiso, performing live on the stages of the most important theaters, arenas, clubs and international festivals with more than three hundred concerts under his belt.

Over the years he has conceived, written and performed several original shows including “Io non so più chi suono – crisi d’ identità al piano-bar” (2017) which blends classical music, improvisations and monologues in an exhilarating happening and “Sognare Fellini: Visioni e amarcord sonori di Nino Rota” (2022), presented on the occasion of the centenary of the director’s birth in the historic setting of the Cinema Fulgor in Rimini and within the Dolcevita-sur-Seine festival in Paris.

He also curates the tenth edition of Meraviglioso Modugno in Polignano a Mare (BA) as host and arranger.

In 2022, together with his brother Alessandro Trabace and Sebastiano De Gennaro, he gives life to the experimental music project Metameccanici.

In 2024, he performed the Italian premiere of the solo piano compositions of the Ethiopian composer Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou at the Casa degli Artisti, during the Milan Music Week.

He is currently working on his second solo album (to be released in spring 2025), and on the soundtrack of the feature film “Orfeo”, the first work by director Virgilio Villoresi.
