Fashion is not only a trend but also shapes culture, identity, and other social aspects. This raises the gender equality topic that is driven by Androgynous Fashion, a concept of defying gender norms by blending both male and female aspects.

Today, androgynous fashion has gone mainstream as celebrities and fashion-conscious individuals embrace the style. Artists such as Harry Styles have become role models in androgynous fashion trends that lead designers to employ androgynous themes in fashion shows and models. It does not only eliminate gender prejudices but also diversification in the fashion domain.

In their studies and editorial articles at TGE, students such as Tr Ariel Thi are already encountering these topics and raising awareness about social norms and the need for diverse and inclusive fashion in today’s world.

Androgynous Fashion Icons တွေကထဲတစ်ယောက်ကိုပြောပါဆိုရင် အခုလက်ရှိမှာ House Of The Dragon series ထဲမှာ ပါဝင်ထားတဲ့ Emma D’Arcy ရဲ့ Fashion ကိုမေ့ထားလို့မရတာအမှန်ပါပဲ။

If we talk about one of the androgynous fashion icons, we cannot forget the fashion of Emma D'Arcy, who is currently in the House Of The Dragon series.

Emma D'Arcy is a famous actress with roles in the BBC drama Wanderlust (2018), the Amazon Prime series Truth Seekers (2020), and the HBO fantasy series House of the Dragon (2022–present), they are known for a fashion full of androgynous vibes that is different from their characters. Some of their iconic fashions are presented.

Exploring the World of Androgynous Fashion: A Blend of Style and Identity

The Origins of Androgynous Fashion

Androgynous Fashion ဆိုတာက feminine and masculine ဖြစ်တဲ့ characteristics နှစ်ခုလုံးကို တွဲဖက်ဝတ်ဆင်ဖော်ပြတဲ့ fashion aesthetic တစ်မျိုးပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

အဲ့ဒီအတွက်ကြောင့် Androgyny in Fashion ဟာ လူမှုရေးစံနှုန်းတွေအရ ဘောင်းဘီ ဆိုတာ အမျိုးသားဝတ်၊ စကတ်နဲ့ ဂါဝန် တွေဟာ အမျိုးသမီးဝတ်ဆိုတဲ့ ပုံသေ traditional gender boundaries တွေကို ထိုးဖောက်ပြီး အဝတ်အထည်တွေမှာ gender သတ်မှတ်ချက်မရှိကြောင်း၊ neutrality နဲ့ fluidity ကို highlight လုပ်တဲ့ Fashion movement တစ်ခုပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Androgynous Fashion merges both feminine and masculine characteristics, resulting in a look that goes beyond traditional gender boundaries. This fashion movement emphasizes neutrality and fluidity, allowing people to express themselves without being limited by conventional gender stereotypes.

As societal norms are evolving in this 21st century, the individuals wearing androgynous clothing to challenge femininity and masculinity standards can be spotted all over the world. We can spectate even luxury fashion brands and celebrities involved in this androgynous fashion movement.

Lets us hope that future Met Galas will embrace eco-conscious fashion and make the real, lasting impression.

Spotted the coolest installation at Milan Design Week! 🌳

These adorable crocheted trees by Treedom and a talented group of unknown women artists totally stole the attention. It was such a creative way to promote "plant freedom" bringing greenery indoors without any watering needed!

The exhibit was set up near Milan University, and it was impossible to miss. People were crowding around, taking pictures, and marveling at the intricate details of each crocheted tree.

It definitely sparked a conversation about sustainability and alternative ways to bring nature into our homes. Big kudos to the artists behind this project! 💚
