“Don” Diego Geraci, after 20 years of continuous activity with the Adels, decided to put together his own trio, where the various musical influences, that have characterized his style, can merge in a unique show. So rockabilly, country, western swing, blues and rock and roll meet the typical “Italian taste” of the 45-years old guitarist from Sicily. The sound that came out is a mix of classic rockabilly, sixties country and h***y tonk. They have toured throughout Europe and the United States. They have backed artists such as Dale Watson, Bill Kirchen, Deke Dickerson, Ray Campi, Marti Brom, Carl Sonny Leyland and many others.
The song is taken from their last Album, "Road Dogs".

The Glad Rags
The Glad Rags are a Classic Drumless Rockabilly Trio based in Milan.
They just formed but the interest around them is growing more and more. They have a sophisticated repertoire that is never dull, and their strength lies in their vocal harmonies and duets.
They should have been only guest artists at the RRS Sessions, but...the recordings were good, and in view of their first concert we decided to release a limited edition promo cd, containing five songs. To purchase it you can write to Retro Recording Services or pick it up directly at their gigs.

Siamo altrettanto lieti di annunciare che gli artisti usciti sulla nostra etichetta invaderanno l'Europa quest'estate! E saranno presenti a una decina di Festival Rock'n'Roll. Non fatevi scappare i loro dischi perché sono quasi tutti in esaurimento!

Dal lato studio, beh, è vivo più che mai. Grazie a tutti i musicisti che ci hanno affidato le loro produzioni. Solo in questo mese sono stati suonati cinque progetti tra queste mura, tra album, ep e video. Quando le release verranno annunciate pubblicheremo le foto delle sessioni.

The Uppertones
The Uppertones is a powerful trio of trombone, vocals, piano, & drums dedicated to the sound of the 50's in Jamaica, the Jamaican R'n'B, Jamaican boogie, calypso, & mento. The kick start to homegrown Jamaican music came with American rock'n'roll and R'n'B (rhythm & blues).
At that time it was the birth of Ska, who originated Rocksteady, Reggae etc. This trio aims to please crowds with a stompin' swing style mixed with the Jamaican edge and style.
They were supposed to be guest artists, not a band on Retro Recording Services Label, but...stay tuned for juicy news!

‼️NO RRS SESSION TODAY‼️
But in the meantime, some great news:

1) The Little Til record will officially be available February 12, and pre-orders will be shipped Saturday!
Almost half of the pressed copies are already sold, thanks for the support!

2) Little Til aired this morning on Rhythm Highways, a St. Louis radio show. Thanks to Lee Howland for the support.

3) The Glad Rags records are almost sold out, and second press is on its way.

4) Don't forget that the Glad Rags are playing this Friday at the Crazy Driver, be there, and buy the few remaining copies of the first pressing.

Little Til and His Shakin' Piano - New Album - Out Soon - Preorder Now!!!
And...RRS Session by Little Til & His Band out this Thursday!
This is a really long story: Little Til (Attilio Malambri) was brought into the studio by Tex Murky in 2019, when he was only 17 years old. After a few sessions, our work stopped due to the pandemic.
Every cloud has a silver lining: when he returned two years later to record his debut album, he was a totally different musician. He passed the lockdowns studying and listening. And you can hear it.
The great thing about Attilio is that he's not yet another "wannabe" Jerry Lee Lewis style pianist. He is a pianist who plays Rhythm and Blues, Boogie, Swing, and even, but not only, Rock'n'Roll.
It will be a rich and varied record that we have worked so hard on, and from the (rightly) very long gestation.
In this album, and in the upcoming RRS Session, he is supported by the rhythm section composed by Tex Murky and Stefano Di Niglio, by the roaring Sax of Ludovico Vic Cicchitelli, and by the guitar of Stefano SJJ Errico.
So pre-order the disc to make sure you get a copy, it costs 15 euros including shipping and contains 9 tracks, 7 of which are originals.
If you have any doubts, wait until you see the Session coming out on Thursday, and you will have no more doubts!
