🇮🇹 Haemophagus "Slaves to the Necromancer"
Available on TAPE (limited to 100 handnumered copies)

A hefty dose of old school grindcore á la and such as well, making it a fine mixture with the reminiscent old school death metal. The chunky, almost thrashing at times, riffing along with the blasting (which remain within the sane old school tempo, not the modern day ‘whomever blast the fastest wins’ category) lays a powerful base, only to have the brutal vocals complete the recipe. And the vocals really push it up a notch, as the growls seem to resound in a cave. "The mournful march" throws a curve-ball as it spruces things up with some doom metal influences, also very old school. Musically Haemophagus are (or maybe, we should sadly say "were") bloody great!

"Singin 'in the pain" is a concept based on the movie “A Clockwork Orange” by Stanley Kubrick, where the band takes us on a one-way black/thrash journey, represented by immorality and violence, and back to a vain attempt at redemption and normality.
It's the confirmation of a trade-mark consolidated in almost forty years, where the old school of extreme metal is present throughout the album.

Conceived in 9 tracks linked together by the narrating voice of Tony Dolan of inc. and supported in the finale by the presence of Eric Forrest of E-force (ex- ).

Following the concept of the album "Tropical Sun" based on the cult film "Zombi 2", Fulci (the band) and Ritual Video created a short movie to celebrate the passion for Lucio Fulci's zombie movies and the death metal music.
The soundtrack of the movie was conceived by FULCI together with TV-CRIMES and it's released on vinyl inspired by the Italian "45 giri" of the seventies.

An infamous collection of very early C.B. recordings: 336 SONGS - ASTI NOISE-GRIND PUNK at its roughest stage. Official reissue of CB's most circulated tape, originally released in 1992, finally consecrated on vinyl... an unbelievable bloodbath of lo-fi rawness going from the embryonic thrashing punk/grind days to the radical nihilism of the band's noisecore phase. This tape embodies the roots of Italian grindcore and the link between the end of an era (the unforgettable furious years of Italy's hardcore punk pioneers) to the beginning of a new one more based on noise and manic speed.

Ripped from 1st generation sources and painstakingly remastered song by song at Toxic Basement Studio in 2022 to celebrate the 30th year anniversary since its first edition.

Another classic by the Swedish death-metallers Necrophobic, making this their third utterly fantastic release in a row.
If you have heard their previous two releases “The Nocturnal Silence” and “Darkside”, this doesn’t stray too far from that thrash/black influenced death metal sound. This may seriously be Necrophobic’s finest release as every musician is absolutely on top of their game: from the insanely addictive tremolo-picked guitar riffs to the eerie lead guitar work scattered gloriously throughout every song, this release borders on perfect.
The production is damn fine and every element of an awesome Satanic Death Metal record is in tact: tasteful drumming with intense blast-beats and rhythmic diversity to complex bass-lines which absolutely compete with the fu***ng stellar guitar wizardry.
“The Third Antichrist” is a metal gem to behold, and of special mention are the killer vocals as well as the fu***ng awesome lyrics.
Complex Satanic death metal with melodic underpinnings has never sounded so good.

🇺🇸 The Black Dahlia Murder "Nightbringers"

Eight albums into an imposingly consistent career that’s seen the band gut At The Gates’ Gothenburg sound with a rusty chainsaw and corrupt its co**se with all manner of extreme influences, the Michigan vets are now mentioned in the same breath as the legends of the genre. Their fanatical devotion to the death metal spectrum makes it difficult to find anything at fault with either their attitude or output, with 2015’s still being a formidable slab of frothing melodic death metal, even if it didn’t quite have the staying power of the stunning and . It’s no surprise, then, that Nightbringers slays from stringent opener Widowmaker onwards. The first half of the album is vintage Black Dahlia, all flailing drums and piercing riffs that stab and slash in lightning attacks, bolstered by Trevor Strnad’s hellish screams and ugly growls that infuse the likes of Jars and the title track with a ghoulish edge. As good as the initial surge is, the final four songs are arguably the pinnacle of the band’s output.
