This edition will be particularly special for us, as ITALY will be the Guest of Honour, and we can’t wait to participate alongside our Italian colleagues to celebrate this extraordinary event together. 🇮🇹

You’ll find us at stand 5.0 B22-2 in the Collective Pavilion!

📖 From October 16 to 20, 2024, Italy returns as the star of the Buchmesse, reclaiming the honour it held in 1988, a year that marked a moment of glory for our literature. 🇮🇹

With the theme “Roots in the Future” from the Official Italian Programme, we’re excited to open a new chapter where our cultural heritage blends with the creation of new stories for the future.

Tuesday, the first day of the fellowship in Beijing, with Julieta Li as our guardian angel and organizer: an intensive and detailed meeting with one of the most prestigious literary publishing house 📚: the Writers’ House - meeting with the director Mr. Kang and copyright manager Ms. Yinfang.

We went on being presented master authors of contemporary Chinese literature - went on to study publications at one of the richest bookstores for narrative and poetry Sanian Bookstore 📖.
