It proposes a public space that can be enjoyed by all, a place where the beauty of nature is maintained, a space where students can develop their talents and passions, and a venue for diverse exchanges.

📢Would you like to design a cultural space inspired by Olivetti?

The new competition by Manni and OLI - Adriano Olivetti Leadership Institute Olivetti Theatre challenges young architects to imagine the completion of the original plan of the Social Services Building.

👉🏻Participants are asked to design the third, never-constructed building of the Olivetti complex along with a large auditorium, exploring the potential of off-site technologies.

Our architectural intervention does not merely extend the existing building but introduces a new, immaterial context within this "different" space. The existing building serves as an entrance, transitioning from the real world to an ideal space. Passing through the arch and entering the garden, one encounters a low roof and an exhibition space.

Through arched openings, continuous colonnades, and elegant curves, visitors can experience the stories embedded within the building. Almo Collegio Borromeo's history is expressed not only through its architecture but also through modular exhibitions.

Morphological - the roof slope is the same as the church's protrusion: by separating with a lower glass box, it minimizes the intervention over the existing fabric and allows the full eligibility of the contemporary intervention in relation to the historical one.
