🎥 This #stopmotionpuppet is made with a #facereplacemant system in order to have a full #lipsync with complete dialogues within our #stopmotionanimation!
😎 These #handmade pieces are reproduced with resin #smoothcast 300 @smoothon, and then colored one by one. We used some #velvetflocking dust to give the right #texture to the pieces.

🎥 For this animated scene, the choice of rigging the puppet was fundamental to keep it suspended in the air, allowing it to move easily on 4 axes: up, down, right and left.
We used the top gear winder rig made by #kineticarmatures Eduard Puertas Anfruns Citoplasmas Stop Motion which allowed us smooth and precise movements to our animation!

💪🏼 Quale lavoro c’è dietro ad uno shot in animazione #stopmotion come questo?
🎥 Per questa scena in animazione fondamentale è stata la scelta nel riggare il puppet per tenerlo sospeso in aria permettendogli facilmente il movimento su 4 assi: su, giù, destra e sinistra.
Abbiamo usato il top gear winder rig made by #kineticarmatures Eduard Puertas Anfruns Citoplasmas Stop Motion che ci ha permesso movimenti fluidi e precisi alla nostra animazione!

⚙️ How it’s made this stop-motion scene?
🎬 The scene is a subjective shot of the little bee Mielodie and we made scale props of her hands to get more detail during the animation.
The whole scene was shot in greenscreen to be able to work in compositing "in the speed effect" for the background and the graphics of the ads that pop out of his smartphone.
😎 It is always a lot of fun for us to realize these "how it's made" of our projects because they reveal how much work is hidden behind a few seconds of the scene.

⚙️ Come è fatta questa scena stopmotion?
🎬 La scena è una soggettiva della piccola ape Mielodie e abbiamo realizzato dei props in scala delle sue mani per avere maggiore dettaglio durante l’animazione.
Tutta la scena è stata girata in greenscreen per poter lavorare in compositing “nell’effetto veloctà” per il background e le grafiche degli annunci che poppano fuori dal suo smartphone.
😎 E’ sempre molto divertente per noi realizzare questi “come è fatto” dei nostri progetti perchè rivelano quanto lavoro si nasconde dietro pochi secondi di scena.

🐦 A little bird made of carded wool!
🧐 Before making the animation of this scene we literally did birdwatching in the park near our studio to understand exactly the movement that needed to be replicated in the animation!

In the dreamy land of Hypnotidoo this little butterfly flies free, and to do this we used aluminum wire as a rig and an Avenger Manfrotto stand to make it move forward!
This is the magic of #stopmotion
Hypno Tidoo - First take
🎥 This was the first take for the short film HypnoTidoo
Starting from here it was useful to understand the direction of the photography of the entire project, and immediately relate to all the problems of animation such as the wind effect on the grass and on the flowers at the same time as the animation rhythm of the puppets.
Each frame required an average of 20/30 min to fix all the elements to perfection.
The take was 6 seconds long and it took 4 days to finish it!

🔧 Carded wool and fabrics
The basic materials used to make the puppets for Tempocasa.it are carded wool and fabrics.
This mix of materials allowed us to give Mielodie a soft appearance that resembles a stuffed animal, without sacrificing the practical aspects necessary for animation.
In this video we focus on making the body of our favorite bee!

I materiali fondamentali usati per realizzare i puppets per Tempocasa.it sono la lana cardata e tessuti.
Questo mix di materiali ci ha permesso di dare a Mielodie un'aspetto soffice che un ricorda un peluche, senza sacrificarne gli aspetti pratici necessari all'animazione.
In questo video ci concentriamo sulla realizzazione del corpo della nostra ape preferita!
How it's made - Wool hair
⚙️ How we made the hair
🐝 For Mielodie we needed a look that reflected her young and energetic personality.
To complete her head we made hair that expressed her vitality and cheerfulness using carded wool!
Each carded part has an aluminum wire inside to allow movement during animation.

🐝 Per Mielodie avevamo bisogno di un look che rispecchiasse la sua personalità giovane e piena di energie.
Per completare la sua testa abbiamo realizzato dei capelli che esprimessero la sua vitalità ed allegria utilizzando il materiale della lana cardata!
Ogni ciocca cardata ha al suo interno un filo di alluminio per permettere il movimento durante l’animazione.
