Following the release of the Macho Beta Orquestra album, the band returns with Alfa Remixes, a four-track EP featuring reinterpretations by international producers.

The EP opens with Florence-based producer TULIOXI 's remix of Você Mentiu. While the original already carried a strong 1980s influence, this version pushes it even further into full-blown Italo Disco territory, driven by shimmering synths and an irresistible groove.

Next comes German producer AmuAmu 's take on Como Fantasmas. One of the most respected names in the downtempo scene, he delivers a fresh and highly original reinterpretation packed with groove and rhythmic detail.

Filhos Das Estrelas is reimagined by Ghiaccioli e Branzini as an organic house track, increasing the tempo while preserving the melodic essence of the original.

The EP closes with Vienna-based producer Cay Taylan 's remix of Sem Macho Alfa. Remaining faithful to the song's original structure, he introduces a new beat and a renewed rhythmic energy.

Meet Itaiata De Sá, one of the percussionists of Macho Beta Orquestra . Born and raised in Salvador de Bahia, he began his career with Olodum — the legendary Bahian percussion group. After moving to Italy, he went on to collaborate with some of the biggest names in Italian and world music: Negrita, Piero Pelù, Roy Paci and Caetano Veloso!!!
He played percussion on HELLdorado (2008) by Negrita — a platinum-certified album and one of the most celebrated Italian rock records of that decade.
He was a key member of Roy Paci & Aretuska on Suonoglobal (2007), the summer when Toda Joia Toda Beleza became one of the most played songs on Italian radio and charts.
On the Macho Beta Orquestra album, he not only plays percussion but also lends his voice to a verse of Sempre Tarde de Manhã.
Now based in Florence, he is a central figure in the local Brazilian music scene, leading the Roda de Samba do Malandro.

Once again, the video was created by Gionni Dall'Orto , this time with the illustrations also featuring the work of Alicia Clo Soares (who happens to be the daughter of Badarò Gil).

As always, the video perfectly captures the tropical energy of the track! 🌴🎶
