A dembow beat with an orchestral arrangement, characterized by a dramatic and heroic connotation, dedicated by DJ FARRAPO to the German activist Carola Rackete.
In 2019, Carola served as the captain of the humanitarian vessel Sea-Watch 3 and made the courageous decision to dock at the port of Lampedusa for the rescue of migrants saved at sea, requiring urgent medical attention, despite the prohibition imposed by the then Italian Prime Minister.
Carola faced delegitimization, arrest, and insults from a populace inflamed by populist propaganda.
Fortunately, saving lives at sea is an obligation, and the accusations against Carola were eventually dismissed.

We are excited to present the latest release from the collaboration between Dj Farrapo and Carlo Maver. This time, the single features the debut of Spanish singer Clara Andrés, whose delicate and smooth vocals add a fresh touch to the song. The unique melodies played by Carlo on the Colombian flute gaita give the song a truly captivating sound to this smooth cumbia!
The release also includes two remixed versions, one by the Brazilian DJ Nirso, who brings a Northeastern Brazilian Electro-Côco flair, the second remix is by the Italian producer Ka:lu , who gives the song a tech-house twist.

Mixing different styles has always been a trademark of DJ Farrapo’s music and the new song "Time" is no exception. It’s his second together with Devon Miles and certainly difficult to label or place in a specific musical genre.
The lazy downtempo beat of the verses, doubles in time for the choruses and turns into discofunk exuding vitality and joy. A dub CODA full of tension and dramatic tones given by the Wagnerian harmonization of the strings follows at the end.
Another characteristic color of the tune is given by Bruno Briscik's cello with wha wha and distortion.

Unfortunately time passes and you can't stop it, but as Devon says it's always good “...taking the time to hone up on your character and skill…“.
