The desire to create a new story.

As animators we are continuously pushed to find a story worth telling. What we may think is great as often as not, is a huge flop.

Therein lays the larger studios benefit, the contribution of many, ex Disney, DreamWorks , Universal ect. So why choose a small studio, .... you not likely to get a laundered version of a story you have already seen.

Shinigami Hime and the Kappa. Japanese Legends by Craig Marucchi from Tears Games.

So yup a small spoiler , there are in fact other spiritual creatures in the story. In this specific scene the Kappa comes to report
a wrong doing to our Shinigami. The fact that we have a flashback on the princess and the frog is entirely coincidental. Hopefully soon all the music editing will be completed and rights in place so we may launch the theme song as formerly posted.

To reply to a question recently posted to me. How to create the backdrop. I add these three images as as a work in progress. For me the image is a single part of a window view, but prior to using it as such. We need to create a landscape first...... admittedly landscapes are not my specialty . So the three images are as follows. general layout, using the studio to add lighting.... and the work after lighting. The work is not completed yet, but should suffice to show the process.
