FIRST TIME SKIING ⛷️ IN GRINDELWALD 🇨🇭
It was so cool to travel again and go for a ski trip for the first time in my life! Me and have been wanting to do more outdoor activities and this was the perfect occasion.

We have booked our ski lesson with and we had so much fun with a group of beginners at the Bodmi Arena where all kids and Adults can get their feet for the first time wearing snow boots and 🎿

The second day we decided to start our morning early and reach the Top of Europe passing through the Eiger Express and then the famous train to reach 3550m.

The view was sensational and these are some snaps from the day! I’ll soon share a vlog and more videos here hoping to inspire you to visit this beautiful place in Switzerland 🇨🇭

HOW EDIT ✍️ DRONE SHOTS
Well! To start you need to capture your pictures on very good light conditions if you want to achieve the best editing.

1. The basic rule is to shoot only sunrise/sunset but that’s not always true! As for example you may encounter sun reflecting on the waves or windows which can make pretty hard the post editing. Using ND filter can help in this case 👆

2. Try to create clean pictures. Simple rule in photography, always have the subject in the center/focus and the background should be not including too many objects. For example if you are shooting a beach 🏝️ try to have the subject in the center and nothing around it. If this is not possible, clean it when you edit ✍️

4. Use the power of light, shadow and color to make your picture popping. In these example, i’ve use it all including gradient light 💡

🚨 INSTAGRAM UPDATE:
1. ORIGINAL MUSIC has been suspended. With this said all videos/photos with original audio will be muted from today.
2. USE 3-5 HASHTAGS, old times when you could use 30 # are over as this is just not the best for the algorithm
3. USE CAROUSEL, video reels are slowly getting a decrease of attention. Like in fashion old trends come back to be trendy again.
4. DAILY POST, the new algorithm is now rewarding accounts who post regularly rather than once/twice a week.

BEFORE/AFTER COVID 19
In the last 2 days I had the opportunity to visit again after a year and I was impressed about how they have adapted to every single Covid-19 rules.

When i was here last year just before the Pandemic started, the service and the experience in general was great.

Well, this time went over any type of expectations. In every corner of this beautiful 5* resort in Ubud i felt safe.

Yesterday i had a really bad news 📰 a friend of mine is fighting btw life and dead for a stupid accident which could have happened to anyone...

Hope he will be back stronger soon and sending him a big hug and prayers 🤍

Life is simply crazy, the day before you could be the happiest person in this world and day after you could be fighting for life... same happened with pandemic and so on...
so I always think that I should live ky life to the fullest.

Everyday i wake up and appreciate my life and try to do everything i can to live it and to be happy 😊 it’s not easy to have this mindset but I can say it helps me to push harder on life goals and keep me positive and calm especially when problems come up.

IT’S NYEPI IN BALI 🤫 🌋
Probably one of the most significant day for Balinese is Nyepi. Once a year all Bali get shut down, no internet, no light no people on the street to celebrate this event.

What’s Nyepi?
Nyepi is a Balinese "Day of Silence" that is commemorated according to the Balinese calendar. Nyepi, a public holiday in Indonesia, is a day of silence, fasting and meditation for the Balinese.

What’s purpose of Nyepi?
Nyepi is a time of purification prior to the New Year. All of the evil spirits that have been lurking over this island paradise are metaphorically told to pack their bags and go! The day of silence influences the malevolent spirits into believing that there is no one left on the island causing them to leave.

WHAT AM I GONNA DO?
Well, i’m gonna simply stay home cooking Lasagna, enjoying football and work as usual 😹 buuuut there is one thing which i’ll definitely be looking forward to! Watching the stars ✨

5 PHOTOGRAPHY 📸 TIPS:

1) when you take pictures, make sure your shots are not overexposed. It will be harder or almost impossible to color-edit those if they are too bright;

2) if you use a DSLR, always set your camera file format to RAW. This type of file is much larger and will allow you to edit as much as you want;

3) Center your subject, especially if you are taking pictures for your Instagram, make sure the subject is in the middle of your shot. This will facilitate cropping for Instagram format and will give a more linear look to your pictures;

4) Avoid taking pictures when the light is too strong. Best hours to shoot are golden hours ( before sunrise/sunset ). Midday is the worst time to take picture with camera but best time for Drone Shot 🚁 ;

5) Edit your pictures with professional programs ( - )

SMART WORKING OR OFFICE ?
This pandemic has been a real game changer for many of you especially because the idea of working from home in certain countries was never considered.

I’m lucky because i was already used to this but many people of course had some difficulties.

So i was thinking what was your biggest struggle when you worked from home?

FLOATING OR NOT? 🥞

I personally hate having floating breakfast but i have to admit that it looks cool for pictures 🤪🤪

These are some PRO and CONS below.

PRO:
- cool for pictures 📸
- refreshing if it’s too hot 🥵

CONS:
- definitely not comfortable to eat 😅
- food gets cold 🥶
- sometime the pool is cold 🧊
- insects everywhere 🐜

DISCOVER SANUR 🤩
I know right Bali is always remembered because of the beautiful jungle in Ubud, the hipster area of Canggu, the surfers are of Uluwatu, the vulcano view point in Amed and many of other thousands spots... but there is one area which most of digital nomads and 20s/30s never explore or if they do it is just to get a boat to Penida and this place is Sanur.

Well i can tell you guys that you are missing out this, beautiful beaches with clean water 💧 and the opportunity to do snorkeling 🤿 and discover a beautiful underwater world 🌎 yes there are huge corals and beautiful species of fishes down there.

is definitely the place to stay if you wish to explore Sanur and don’t forget to snorkel and try the wonderful underwater experience at .

INSTAGRAM VS TIKTOK 🍿🍿
I did a test on these two platforms in the last month and tried to be consistent and post almost every day...

The results were incredible 🤪🤪 I managed to grow over 3000 followers on TikTok in less than 3 weeks, amazing right?

What about Instagram? Well, I wasn’t so happy about the results. Even tho the engagement definitely improved 🙏🏻 I haven’t that many subscribers as much as on TikTok👀

So I’m thinking maybe I should focus more on TikTok? What do you guys thing?

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 5 YEARS? 👀

Hard to answer this question but for sure i know that i’d like to be more independent, healthy, happy with my life and financially stable to afford traveling around the world 🌎

I also would love to have a family and meet someone for a lifetime journey but these are things you don’t look for🙏🏻

Business is definitely my main focus at the moment and i’m so happy to have the opportunity to work with so many brands, entrepreneurs, freelancers, businesses and projects. For the future i have few goals which includes launching my own resort wear brand, scaling up my business for .travel.official and investing in properties.

BEST WATERFALL IN BALI 🏝
I’ve been visiting so many waterfalls in Bali and i’d like to share with you the top 3 best waterfalls in Bali:

3. LEKE LEKE
Probably one of the smallest one in Bali but really pretty especially for pictures. The access to this waterfall is easy and the ticket price is really cheap.

2. ALING ALING
Do you like extreme jumping? Well then you should not miss this wonderful place.

1. SEKUMPUL
This is certainly the most beautiful one in Bali. Get ready for a long and tiring way down. So many steps but definitely paid off the workout.

TIME TO GO BACK TO ITALY 🇮🇹
Yes 🙌🏻 this will be my last month in Indonesia 🇮🇩 because as i planned before landing here, i’ll be back to Italy by the end of March.

I have a weird feeling about it, kinda hate/love. I don’t know what to expect there at the moment since from what i heard in the last 3 months anything has changed since i left... i hope it won’t be a new reclusion for me and that the time there will be amazing.

I’ll be spending Spring/Summer 21 in Europe and probably (hopefully) visiting few famous spots such as Santorini, Ibiza, Hvar and so on.

Are you already planning your summer 2021? Or you don’t really care...

IS THIS PARADISE?
In my last vlog which I’ve just published on YouTube i’ve been visiting the best beaches in Uluwatu, Bali.

This one in particular is my favorite but guys be ready! We almost lost a team mate in the way up 😹 there are so many steps to go up/down that your body will feel sore and with the hot temperature you may faint 😅

My advise for you bring always a snack and water with you and stay hydrated.

The top 4 beaches for me are:
1) GREEN BOWL BEACH
2) SULUBAN BEACH
3) BALANGAN BEACH
4) BINGIN BEACH

I’M SINGLE AND TODAY IS VALENTINE’S DAY 💔

I have to say it, i hate these kind of celebrations 🎉 Love should be celebrated everyday and not just 1/2 days every year.

Since I broke up with my ex I’ve been meeting up so many beautiful people and made really good friendship, exactly like with !

We met in Bali randomly because of common friends and since then we built such a strong friendship. We talk about anything everyday and we help each other’s with work and daily routine. We never argued, we simply bestfriends and i’m sure this will be a forever relationship.

Today i’m not gonna buy her flowers 🌺 as many of you guys, today we will spend time together as we did everyday since we met.
Yes maybe we will go for a nice dinner but at the end what will matter is be kind, respectful and love always!

Do you agree? We should always celebrate love and not just today?

I LOST ALL MY PICTURES AND VIDEOS 🥺
This just happened a week ago while traveling up north Bali, my external hard drive decided to break and I lost over 2 years of content and work 😅

On two feet i was having a breakdown and cry 😭 but as usual I calm down and look at this as a lesson, always save your work on multiple drives so if this happen you have a backup.

Now the thing is that there were few trips which really meant to me a lot, like Maldives, Dubai and Penida. Therefore I have now to go back 😂😂

sorry guys you’ll have to join me for this adventure again in Penida.

GIVE UP OR NOT?
I’ve been studying a lot Instagram in the last few weeks and I’m really struggling with understanding what made my account not trendy anymore since the number of interactions are getting lower even tho I’m spending more time here and working hard to create quality content everyday for you guys... i know you love each of my post ❤️ and i’m so thankful but for some reason the reach of my content is still not that good or what I believe it should be.

Lately i’m also focusing on TikTok, YouTube and Clubhouse which i found more rewarding. So i’d like to know from you guys few things:

Am i the only one avoiding watching news and mass media these days? Uh 🙄

I’m feeling so much better now in Bali because I don’t have to hear everyday the radio or tv where people talk only about Covid19, how bad is it, what to do and don’t, next lockdown and so on...

I got it we have a pandemic going on but please people stop panicking. Just live your life with caution, wear mask in public places, wash your hands, keep distance if you can and avoid gathering with many people... that’s all!

Travel 🧳 it’s much safer than staying at home with your family i swear. Why? Because to travel in majority of places which are now open to tourists or to visa holders, you need a pcr test negative 72h before departure and also to get another one when you land... which means no covid in/out these countries. Is that hard?

I give you few places where you could travel:
- United Emirates Arab (tourists ✅)
- Mexico (tourists ✅)
- French Polynesia (tourists ✅)

And more probably...

LA MIA VITA È CAMBIATA! Molti mi hanno chiesto perché non pubblicavo, se avevo lasciato perdere per sempre la mia carriera o se avevo semplicemente chiuso con Instagram. Bene se vi interessa saperlo, sono cambiate molte cose da quando ho lasciato per sempre Bali. Bali è stata per oltre 5 anni la mia seconda casa. Ho imparato tante cose, ci sono stati alti e bassi ma sicuramente mi ha cambiato in meglio e mi ha fatto capire quali obiettivi avere per il futuro. Sono diventato papà di un piccolo cucciolo di golden da qualche mese e devo dire che questo mi tiene abbastanza occupato! @liongoldenlife se volete seguire le sue avventure 😅 Sto finalmente pianificando il mio matrimonio con @amberkillion che si terrà il prossimo anno qui in Puglia. Non è finita qui! Sono pronto o quasi a trasferirmi in un paese in cui non ho mai vissuto prima… vi dirò di più a fine estate. E infine ho iniziato un nuovo percorso come Gamer su Twitch e TikTok. (Pubblicherò qualche storia qui) Per quanto riguarda la mia carriera da travel photographer, è ormai un hobby e fa parte del mio passato.
