An independent record label for electronic music run by a bunch of like-minded friends. There has been a musical changing of the guard in Vienna the last years. Out with old crusty chilled downtempo and elevator music and most definitely in with new exciting and innovative electronica, be it Hip Hop or House or Tec

hno. Much of this has been because of the new breed of club and party people who have taken risks and brought over from overseas very cool underrated and forward thinking producers and DJ’s to play at their parties. This has influenced a new generation of likeminded musical factions and cliques in Vienna who are now producing passionate and quality beats too. One such label is Luv Shack Records and apart from organising some of the cities best parties, they now see fit to express themselves through the medium of vinyl and digital downloads with a roster of local talent.

Hungry for biscuits? Look no further, as the third batch of Disco Biscuits is fresh out of the oven at Luv Shack headquarters!

On the A side we have Lee Stevens “Theme for Disco Biscuits” , a modern Italo stomper with heavy synth work and delicious sprinkles of breakbeat, sitting alongside Endrik Schröders „Infinity“, an ecstatic, upbeat Synth-Disco hybrid that is generously coated in syrup made from 80s Hi-Energy and early nineties scandinavian Disco.

The B Side opens with “One Of A Kind”, a slowly baked house chugger by Jakobin & Domino, taking its time to rise and develop a rich and deep flavour before the Golden Boogie Connection hit us with “Dull Grey”, a laid back Disco affair that is topped with a slab of Acid, which is neither dull nor grey!

Lee Stevens returns to Luv Shack Records for his first solo EP in over ten years, after exploring a more relaxed sound under his Rising Seed moniker.
The opening track “Right On” creates a sonic universe where Ennio Morricone and John Carpenter have joined forces to make synth heavy dance music.
„Maskaron“ sounds like a full homage to new wave and the obscure side of italo disco, topped with chanting reminiscent of 1970s western movies.
On "Trippin´ On Your Love" Lee Stevens taps into early proto-house and synth-dance, complete with arp bass and occasional breakbeats.
Track number four, "Ju Know," features Lee Stevens and long-time collaborator Simonlebon in a moody, upbeat jam with heavy low-end synths, bittersweet vocal samples, and 80s pop-style piano chords.
Finally, the closing track "Destruction" features tight 808 drums accompanying a dark bassline and eerie vocals, with uplifting synth chords reminding us there is still hope.
