Summer ‘23, you have been magnificent.

I am truly landing the concept of - Soft Woman Era.

When you are a “well fed” woman and have satiated the inner hunger, it’s replaced with an expansiveness and inner peace.

Your auric field gets calibrated and your nervous system self-regulates.

It becomes easy and effortless to distinguish what is good for you and what’s going to tax your system.

When I was a child, when my mother was a child, we didn't have dolls to play. Our younger siblings were our dolls.

My elder daughters toys were all educational tools, until my younger one coaxed us into allowing her have her way so much, that we found ourselves hosting a birthday party for Barbie when she was 12. I was a parent devoutedly engaged in developing my childrens wisdom through informed indulgence.

10 years later, we 3 women, feminists and anti casteists in our own 3 different styles, watched Barbie tear away her illusions just as we have had to repeatedly tear our own n number of times.

Barbie could have had, should have had a better treatment. Just like Maari Selvarajs Karnan and Maamannans second half could have had, should have had. But thats it. Those who are breaking away from mindless oppression have much to tell, that too quickly. I suppose, when you've broken away from an illusion that kept you hurt and hungry for more millennia than you had ever imagined, then telling that story is going to be awkward, atleast initially.
