Foot Patrolling by Kamle District Police.
On 12th December 2024, Kamle District Police Led by DySP under the guidance of SP Kamle conducted Foot Patrolling in Raga Market Area and Govt Hr Sec School Raga.
The patrolling was conducted to ensure to make the presence of police and commitment to maintain peace and order. It will also increase the Police visibility in a community and to build trust between Police and Public.
A massive fire broke out on 10 of December at midnight and razzed down to ashes. The house belonging to Gocham Tania deeply saddened with the incident. A team of AKDSU(All Kamle District Student Union) led by Yom Rajen Thomas Dui (General secretary) visited the victim family and provided essential items. He also urged the administration to provide relief funds as soon as possible.
One house belonging to Gocham Tania in Kicho Village was engulfed in flames this evening. No belongings were taken out from the house and no loss of life has been reported.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

The foundation day of the Third Gepen ADC (I) was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 9 December 2024 at Gepen, under the leadership of the organizing chairman, Paat Ruri Mugli, and secretary, Manne Don.
The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Tadak Lardak Murtem, Vice President of ANSU, Arun Nguri, Yumdam Baja and Tapu Banor as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and Special Guest, respectively.

13 airguns were surrendered during an event promoting awareness for wildlife and forest protection in Kamporijo organised by NES Kamle district unit in collaboration with District Administration Kamle.

In the programme, Reddy Bei, RFO, Boasimla Range, who served as a resource person, underscored the significance of flora and fauna in daily life and educated attendees about the prevailing laws against illegal poaching. He also informed the attendees about the significance of the food chain system and the crucial role that forests play in the discharge of water in catchment areas.
Additionally, Rakhe Taro, ZPM Kamporijo Block-I, emphasized the complete ban on hunting and logging, and announced a reward of one lakh rupees for the best informant against illegal poachers, to be distributed by the Kamporijo Circle officer.
During the event, a total of 13 airguns were voluntarily surrendered by residents from various villages in Kamporijo Block-I, in the presence of officials including Circle officer Balo Shakak, Dr. Sopin, President of NES Kamle District Unit, Reddy, RFO, and Goan Burhas. This brings the total number of surrendered airguns from Block-I to 18.
Dr. Kapu Sopin, Chairman NES Kamle District Unit, while speaking to the attendees, shared the objectives of NES initiatives in safeguarding flora and fauna.
Later, the Circle Officer of Kamporijo Balo Shakak expressed gratitude for the efforts of NES and individuals who have contributed to the protection of flora and fauna for future generations. He has been informed that a memorandum of understanding has been signed by the Joint Mega Nyokum Yullo Celebration Committee, Kamporijo Circle-2025 and Kamporijo administration to prohibit the sale of wild animal meat during the festivities at Boasimla. Furthermore, he has instructed the Goan Burha to take a leading role in this endeavor and provide a list of individuals involved in illegal hunting activities in their respective villages.
