Tips for parents for kids who have trouble brushing. 👶🏻 👫

Remember, teeth cleaning should start when babies are 6-8 months old, that is, when the first teeth appear. Of course not directly with a toothbrush. ☺️

Cleaning your baby's mouth by slightly wetting a cheesecloth or gauze in the morning and at night will not only form the basis of future tooth brushing habits, but will also help him get used to tolerating different tissues in the mouth gradually.

Mobile Photography Contest - Onam Festivals

Nahla Centre for Child Development is delighted to announce a Mobile Photography Contest on the occasion of the vibrant and joyous festival of Onam. This contest aims to celebrate the spirit of Onam and showcase the creativity and talent of our young participants.

Theme:
Capture the essence of Onam - the colors, traditions, rituals, and festivities that make this festival so special. We encourage participants to explore various aspects of Onam, such as flower decorations (Pookalam), traditional attire, cultural performances, and the spirit of unity and togetherness.

Submission Guidelines:
1. Participants are allowed to submit a maximum of three photographs.
2. Photographs must be taken using a mobile phone camera. Any editing or post-processing should be limited to basic adjustments such as cropping, brightness, and contrast.
3. Images should be in JPEG format and have a resolution of at least 1920 x 1080 pixels.
4. Participants must provide a brief description of each photograph, explaining its relevance to the theme.
5. Submissions should be sent via WhatsApp to 9048294999 with the subject line "Onam Mobile Photography Contest."

Autism book of the month : My recommendation for April

I recommend this superb book for every parent of a child with autism, particularly of newly diagnosed children.

As a parent you will need to be an expert in all aspects of autism.

As a professional, I found it’s depth very profound and very helpful to me.

Not too expensive at ₹1500/- it still it’s worth in gold…
