Global Muslim population exceeds 2 billion, making Islam the world's fastest growing religion☝️🤍🕊️

The world's Muslim community is estimated to have reached a total of 2,006,931,770 this week, the Global Muslim Population website reported earlier this week.

Muslims thus represent more than 25% of the global population of over 8 billion people, added the report, noting that Islam is the second largest religion in the world after Christianity.

The world's population is expected to grow by 32% in the next decades. However, the Muslim population is projected to increase by 70%, from 1.8 billion in 2015 to nearly 3 billion in 2060.

FIFA strips Indonesia of U-20 World Cup hosting rights after refusing to host Israel.

Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim-majority nation and does not have formal diplomatic relations with Israel, while publicly supporting the 🇵🇸 cause.

"FIFA has decided, due to the current circumstances, to remove Indonesia as the host of the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2023," a FIFA statement said.

"A new host will be announced as soon as possible, with the dates of the tournament currently remaining unchanged. Potential sanctions against the PSSI may also be decided at a later stage."

Attorney Nadia Kahf becomes first hijab-wearing judge in the U.S. after Superior Court appointment in New Jersey.

Kahf, a Syrian-origin family law and immigration attorney from the township of Wayne, took the oath of office on Thursday with her hand on a copy of the Quran.

She will serve as a Passaic County Superior Court judge after New Jersey's Gov. Phil Murphy nominated her a year ago.
