Umoja Uaso, a village in Kenya is an all-female matriarch village.

In order to help the people suffering from floods in Bihar, The Kalki Media paid a visit to the most flood-affected areas in the state.

In this mission of ours which began on the 7th of August, Khaana Chahiye and Red Is The New Green has been of huge help to us. Khaana Chahiye provided us with 5000 packets of Parle G biscuits, that is 35 boxes in order to be distributed to the needy in Bihar. While Red Is The New Green supported us with 400 packets of sanitary napkins.

We donated these biscuits, sanitary pads, and other essential items to the people suffering in Bihar amidst the pandemic and the floods.

Once again, we are immensely thankful to and for their co-operation and the donations which helped us in our mission 'We Stand with Bihar'.

Looking forward to spending more and more smiles across India while simultaneously promoting journalism.

R**e is the fourth most common crime against women in India. And a lot of these r**e cases go unnoticed because people hide under the blanket of marital r**e and r**e within their own families or relatives.

In a country where the children are taught wrong, girls are being taught that they are the ones that invite such attention and they are also to be blamed for the r**es that happen, it should be made clear to us that s*x isn’t a myth and that our body isn’t anyone’s honour, it is OUR honour.

Instead of feeling embarassed about it, people should raise their voices and speak up against r**e. We need to teach people about s*x, s*xual desires and consent because in India, it is a taboo to talk about s*x and s*x-related things.

"It isn’t my moral responsibility to make sure that you don’t get triggered by me, it is your moral responsibility as a member of the civil society to make sure that you don’t get triggered by me," says Kritika Sahu, a journalist from The Kalki Media.
